Jesse arrived home late from work. He went straight to his room to change his clothes and headed straight to Aya. He saw her laying down on her bed, doing something with her phone, Facebook maybe? Who knows. He sat beside her and kissed her forehead, "Hey, did you eat...?"
Aya shook her head and moved closer to Jesse to use his lap as a pillow, "And I wasn't able to cook as well, sorry... I can't find the will to get up from here..." It's been five days since Shiba threatened Jesse and Aya. Two more days left and they'll find out what he's planning on doing.
He smiled at her, "It's okay, we can just order something, right? Don't worry,"
Feeling safe now that Jesse's by her side, Aya smiled, "Yeah, let's just order... I want Chinese fried rice,"
"Chinese fried rice? Noted," Jesse took out his phone and called a Chinese restaurant to order food. After ordering, he looked at Aya, "Do you want to get up? Watch TV downstairs maybe? Change of environment would be nice,"
"Yeah, you're right," Aya slowly got up, her hand being held by Jesse as they went down to the living room and watch TV. They waited for their food there, snuggling with each other. When the doorbell rang, Jesse got up to check, it was the delivery boy. Jesse smiled as he opened the door and took out his debit card to pay.
"Thanks," Jesse told the delivery boy as he took the bag of food.
"Oh, sir, somebody wanted me to give this to you," the delivery boy handed Jesse an envelope.
"Who?"
"I don't know sir, he approached me and told me to do it, then left right away,"
Jesse quickly opened the envelope and saw a single card inside saying, "Two days left." Jesse felt the blood leave his face and ran out of the house to look around. He went back to the delivery boy, "You sure he's gone?"
"Y-yes sir,"
"I see, okay then, thanks," Jesse closed the door behind him and locked the door right away. He rushed to the back door to make sure it's locked, as well as the sliding doors from his and Aya's room towards their shared balcony. Seeing him rushed and panicking, Aya became concerned.
"Jesse, what's wrong?"
Not wanting to make her worried, Jesse threw the envelope along with the receipt so Aya wouldn't notice. He went back to her and placed the bag of food in front of her, "The delivery boy just said that there's some kind of fight nearby, so we better be careful, so I rushed to check the doors,"
"Eh? That's horrible then, I wish they fix it up right away," taking her fried rice from the bag and made herself comfortable beside Jesse.
"Yeah,"
The next day, when Aya woke up, Jesse was already gone for school, but to her surprise, her parents were already home from England. As she came down the stairs, Jun and Jasper were eating the leftovers from last night at the dining area, "Mom? Dad?"
"Aya!" the two rushed to Aya and gave her tight embraces.
"Your mom's worried sick about you since Jesse called about your stalker, so we finished our business in England as soon as we can to make it here to you," Jasper explained.
"Aw, mom, but Jesse's been watching over me real good, plus if he's not around I don't even go outside," Aya embraced Jun back.
"I know, but still... plus, it's your birthday tomorrow, so we needed to come home anyway," Jun replied.
"Oh yeah, my birthday,"
Jun went to their stuffs and took out a paper bag, "Here, we bought this, we didn't have time to shop around England but I know you love branded stuffs, Jasper and I thought you'd like a matching scarf with Jesse, so we bought him one as well," Jun took out a white checkered Burberry Heritage Collection scarf for Aya, "It has your name on it, we bought Jesse the black one and since they only allow three letters to be emdroided, we put JES on his,"
