Natsu's POV
When I heard Lucy say she loves me, my heart fluttered and I felt like I was on cloud nine. I sighed in relief, 'I'm glad my feelings are definitely not one-sided' I thought. I was about to tell her 'I love you too' but suddenly she pushed me to the side and I saw her being hit by a shot of magic. "Lucy!" I exclaimed and then in a flash, only her clothes were on the floor.
"Lucy!" I shouted again and ran to her clothes. As I gathered her clothes in my arms, I noticed a lump inside her clothes. I held her clothes in one arm while I used the other to pull the clothes away from the lump. The lump revealed to be a sleeping golden puppy. I was extremely relieved to know Lucy was not dead. I whipped my head around towards the person who shot the magic but the person was already gone. I looked back down at puppy Lucy and thought 'now it's my turn to take care of you' with a slight smile. She'll be my golden puppy.
