*Valerie's POV*

"Would you like a hot hors d'oeuvre?" I asked politely with a little accent.

"Yes, please. Mmm! This is the best thing I've ever had" Zach said while taking a bite out of the delicious-looking food that I 'made'

"So you like it?"

"I more than like it. I, uh... mmm-- so like it"

"Beef ragout?"

"Yeah. This is amazing"

"Did I surprise you?"

"Oh, yeah, you surprised me. This is every single dish Mrs. Potts made for my parents"

"What did it take you? Three days?"

"You know, don't even ask me"

Seriously, don't ask.

"Yeah. Well, it means a lot that you stopped and did all this for me. Especially with all the craziness you've been put through. I've missed you. We don't get much time to be just us anymore"

"I know"

"You can't take me anywhere, right?" Zach giggled.

"Uh..."

"Do you have a-do you have a napkin or something?" Zach got up and started to look around the picnic table.

"I do! I packed some" I reached out for my bag but to no avail. Oh right! It's in the table.

"Oh there it i-" Zach reached out for the picnic basket.

Oh no! He can't look through the basket! He can't know that i used a magic spell for this entire picnic.

"I think I stowed them away. I can grab them" I said trying to stop them but I was too late.
