Third Person

School was okay so far. It wasn't that terrible...((oh who am I kidding? School is absolute hell!!))

It was okay. The teacher was nice, and most of the students were too.

What's going on right now? Well, the students right now are introducing themselves, and it went great. The students were pretty much getting along.

A few minutes later, it was recess. Chaos was made. Students were running around, of course since they are just 4 years old. It was Pre-K of course.

Moonlight and Shadow, were in one of the sandboxes at the play area. They were going to build a sand castle.

Once they were doing with the sand castle, they felt proud of themselves. It only lasted a few seconds when a boy came over and destroyed it.

"Hey!" Shadow yelled.

"Oops! Sorry, idiots!" the boy said, laughing.

Moonlight felt like crying.

"What are you gonna do? Cry?" the boy taunted Moonlight.

"Leave my sister alone!" Shadow yelled to the boy as he stood up from the sandbox.

"What are you gonna do about it, freak?" the boy challenged.

"I'm not a freak!" Shadow yelled, as a group of other students formed around them.

"Oh, that's right. Both of you are!" the boy said.

And that's how the fight started. From insults to tackling each other down.

"Someone get the teacher!" a student yelled.

Moonlight was dragged to the crowd by a girl to prevent getting hurt in the fight.

Shadow was pinned down to the sand in the sandbox. Let's just say the fight was...ferocious.

"Just give up, freak!" the boy yelled.

"Never!" Shadow growled.

Just as Shadow was going to push the boy off, the boy grabbed his cap, and took it off.

Angered, he pushed him off, but the boy still had his cap.

The boy looked at him, and unfortunately, saw his red mark.

"Freak!" the boy yelled.

Other people who saw the red mark, backed away.

"N-No I'm not!" Shadow said.

"Oh yeah? Then why do you have that red mark?" the boy said. "You know what? You're not a freak. Oh, no. You're a monster."

"I am not!" Shadow yelled, tackling him down.

The fight started again, but this time, people were seeing his red mark. Many backed away from him, others were scared of him, and much more. Moonlight was worried for him.

Alas, the teacher finally came.

"Shadow! Richard! Stop this instant!" the teacher, Ms. Kath, said.

They instantly stopped as Shadow snatched his cap and put it on.

"Now apologize to each other!" Ms. Kath said.

"Sorry," they both said to each other, not actually sorry.

"Good, now behave or I will have to call your parents," Ms. Kath warned as she left.

"Don't think you've won this, monster," the boy, Richard, said to Shadow as he walked away.

Every now and then, people would give Shadow and Moonlight glares, or even would mouth to them: monster.

The moment they came back home, they told their parents what happened, and they started to cry. Lloyd and Harumi tried to comfort them, but nothing seemed to work. They talked in private while Shadow and Moonlight were sitting on the couch with their Grandma.

"Harumi, what are we gonna do? Students are calling them monsters," Lloyd said.

"I don't know, but they don't want to go back to school tomorrow," Harumi replied.

Lloyd sighed.

"There's only one option."

"And what would that be?" Harumi asked.

"We will have to homeschool them. They're obviously afraid of what students might do to them, plus, here in Jamanakai, people don't judge them," Lloyd said.

"I hope we're doing the right thing," Harumi said, hugging Lloyd and he hugged her back.

"Trust me, we are," Lloyd said.
