Morning

Flame's P.O.V

I opened my eyes and let a yawn escape my mouth. I rubbed my eyes tiredly and looked around. Sunlight hit around the room.

I slowly looked around the room. And then it hit me: I fell asleep. On. The. Chair!!!

I looked at the table and saw all the 'Uno's' cards still there. I got up and stretched. Might as well find something to eat.

Now I wondered, where the heck is the kitchen?

I took a good five minutes looking for the kitchen, and then I finally found it. The kitchen wasn't small, but it wasn't big either. I wonder...

Thunder's P.O.V

~timeskip~

I woke up to the wonderful smell of...pancakes!

I quickly sit up. Bad idea. Since I was still sleepy, I went a bit foward than intended and fell onto the floor.

I groaned a bit but then stood up and realized that everyone else was probably awake. I followed the smell of pancakes to the kitchen, and everyone was there.

My yawn made everyone look at me. "Hey, sleepy-head," my sister said jokingly. "Morning motor-mouth," I said back. I hear my dad, uncle, and aunt chuckle a bit.

"So..." I started. "Who's making pancakes?" "Me!" I looked at Flame, who was covered in some flour in his cloths, face, and hair. I laughed a little.

"Wait! Is there any syrup?" "Uh...I don't think so!" "Dang it!"

"I could go get some!" I volunteered. "Then you might want to brush your hair," my sister giggled. I just realized how messy my hair is and I chuckled embarrassed.

I left to my room and brushed my hair. I decided to change my hair style, and I kinda look like dad, well, at least a younger version of him. I changed clothes. I now wear a white shirt, and jeans. I put over a blue hoodie and put on black shoes. I go back downstairs, skipping a few stairs on the way (and almost falling multiple times) and I went back to the kitchen.

"Mom!" I said to mom. "Yeah?" Mom said and turned over to me. I could tell she looked shocked since I sort of changed my hair style. "Do you have any money for I could buy the syrup? I kinda don't have money..." I nervously chuckled.

Mom playfully rolled her eyes while having a smile in her face. She went upstairs to her room and came back with a 5 dollar bill. "Keep the change," mom winked at me. I nodded and left.

I walked around Ninjago City. I tried to find the nearest store. While being distracted, I bumped into someone. "My bad," I said.

"It's quite alright," a feminine voice said. I looked at them. They had blonde hair, and blue, probably ice blue eyes. "I wasn't exactly paying attention either," she said.

"I'm Thunder," I said, extending my hand to her. "Winter," she replied and shook my hand. "So, are you a teenager?" I asked. She nodded. "I'm 14," Winter said. "No way! Me too!" I exclaimed.

"Huh, interesting. Well, I guess I'll see you around," she said and gave me a small wave before she continued walking.

I smiled before returning to looking for a store and eventually, I did.

I sorta came late back home, but thankfully, the pancakes were still warm.

"Why did you take long, bro?" Flow asked me while she started to eat her last pancake. "I met someone," I said. "Made a new friend?" Flame asked.

I shrugged and took a bite of my pancake. "She seems nice," I said. "Ooh! So it's a girl," my sister teased. "Shut up, Flow!" I said back and everyone laughed a bit. "I'm kidding," she said.

"Sure you are," I said, and playfully rolled my eyes, but was able to keep a smile on my face.

So, I had a bit of writers block for this chapter, but now I'm done with this chapter!
