I awake to the hard knocking on my door, followed by my mother's voice. "Paigion?" I groaned as I stretch and sat up in my bed. Y'all. I got home real late and I know I overslept.
My mom entered my room with a smile on her face and she was all dressed up. "You wanna go somewhere with me?" She asked.
I nodded my head, rubbing my eyes. "Ok pooh, I'm going to be out in the car. Take all the time you need to get ready." She assures before exiting out of my room.
I remove my pink covers off my body and got up as I went to my bathroom. I use it first before turning on the shower then doing the rest of my get ready routine.
Before I could leave out the door, I went inside my living room and pull out my phone as I took a selfie. I thought I looked cute.

I uploaded the photo on my Instagram page then place my phone back in my purse as I head out the door.
"How was the party last night?" My mom asked, driving.
I look out of my window as the thoughts of last night appeared in my mind. It was something I would never forget.
"Fun. We did so much but I finally got to talk to Jakobe. Remember him?" I replied, looking over at my mom.
She scoffed. "Remember him? Girl. That's the one I told you to be nice to." I chuckled.
"Well, I'm nice to him now and apologized too." I added.
She smirk at me. "That's good to hear."
We were now in Orland Park, entering the parking lot of Orland Square. My mom found a parking space up front. When we come here, we usually get a parking space at the end.
I got out of the car and waited for her.
I pulled out my phone and went on Instagram as more people show love to my latest pic. I double tap and reply to each comment until I came across one that widened my eyes.

I smiled at his comment then reply before giving him a follow back since he just followed me. I'm going to assume Ariel gave him my username.
"Come on, Gigi." My mom called me as I look up and put my phone away.
We walk inside the mall and I look over at Auntie Anne's. My stomach growled as I crave for a cinnamon pretzel.
"Can we eat first before you devour in that?" My mom asked, laughing.
I didn't want no cheesecake factory nor any food that was in this mall. But since it was her choice, might as well eat with her.
We begin to shop. My mom went inside lush as I went inside Spencer's. I remember Ariel suggesting me to go here. This is where she get her graphic tees.
When I first entered the store, my eyes widened at their design. It looked so goth to me but I didn't care. I went ahead and bought a few tees then went to lush where my mom was.
"Ooh, what did you get from there?" My mom pointed at my Spencer's bag as I look down and opened a bit.
"A few tees. One of them has my favorite person." I smiled, referring to Aaliyah.
My gosh, she is such a beautiful person. I wish she was still here so I can meet her.
"I got me a some new stuff since you used it all up." She slanted her eyes at me and playfully push me.
I giggled. "I'm sorry, I can't help it but to smell good."
"You are truly my child." We share a laugh as went to the Cheesecake Factory.
"You know what you want?" My mom asked, looking in her menu.
"Yeah." I already know that I want the Mac and Cheese burger.
When our waiter came she sat bread and butter down before pulling out her pen and paper to take our drinks plus food.
While talking to my mom, my phone goes off and I pause the conversation to check on it.

"Someone's beaming." My mom sang as I look up and laugh.
"Jakobe is talking to me in the DMs." I told her.
She took a sip of her drink and shake her head. "It's cute that he never got over you but tell him I said Hi."
I playfully roll my eyes and we continued to text each other until our food came.
My mouth watered at the sight of this burger that was in front of me. I know I have said earlier that I didn't want to eat here but looks like I lied. I said my prayers and proceed to eat.
I look over at my mom's plate. She always ordered the tamale corn cakes but this time it's grilled salmon, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. I don't usually eat it but it sure looks good.
"I give you a piece of my burger if you let me have some of your mashed potatoes." I smirked, kindly offering.
My mom look at my plate, shaking her head as she laughed. She pushed her plate up a bit to me. I got excited as I grab my fork, scooping a bit of mashed potatoes.
I blew it before placing the fork in my mouth. My eyes roll upward as my taste buds tingle. It is soo good.
My mom laughed and resume eating my food. I didn't eat it all the way due to me being full after the third bite. My mom wasn't either. The waiter came back with boxes as we put up our food and my mom left her tip before leaving.
"Thank you so much, mommy." I beamed as I open up my bag of Auntie Anne's cinnamon pretzel.
"Anything for my baby." She pinched my cheek and pull out of the parking space.
