J A K O B E.

Jakobe sat at a red light, nodding his head and humming to the song that was playing on the radio.

Night has taken it's place, he thought after they left panera, he would drop his best friend off but they ended up going other places.

It didn't stop him for changing his mind to see Paigion though.

Interrupting his thoughts, his phone ringed in the cupholder and the light turned green. He proceeds to drive but at the same time answering his phone, putting it on speaker.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Hey Bebe, how was your day?" His mom answered.

"It was long but, good. Me and Cam went to Panera then we drove to Downtown Chicago." He explained.

"Wow, I know your butt tired huh?" She chuckles afterwards.

Jakobe smiled and shook his head.
"I still have enough energy to go see Paigion."

"Oh, I thought you were on your way home but, I see you are really liking that girl." His mom always noticed. His face lits up whenever he mentions her or think about her.

"Nah, I ain't going to be over for long. I know you wanted to see the car to hang with your friends since y'all be kicking it real late." He laughed.

"I ain't kicking it with them no more. They like to party until seven in the morning, that's not my style. But you take all the time you need, Bebe. Be safe out there." His mom told him.

"I will mama, and tell Ash I got her something." He adds, pulling up in front of Paigion's home.

"She already ate Harold's with me, she is asleep now. Give it to her tomorrow." His mom insist.

"Oh alright then, I'm in front of her house. I see you when I get to the house. Love you." He unbuckled his seatbelt and open his door.

"Love you more, Bebe." She gave him a smooch afterwards which made Jakobe laugh.

They ended their call and Jakobe gets out the vehicle.

He shivered once the light, cool wind blew past him. He placed his phone in the back of his jeans pocket before stuffing his hands into his jacket, walking up the stairs that lead to the entrance.

Knocking twice, Jakobe waited and look around.

He can hear footsteps walking down the stairs and to the front door.
