JAKOBE.
"Damn Ko, I know your ass still happy knowing that you've been liking her for the longest." Kobe's best friend, Camden chuckled as he took a sip of his fruit punch.
The two were at Panera, eating and chilling. Jakobe didn't want to be in the house all day so he hit up his best friend who he know was free. Camden now lives in Crestwood due to his mom getting a new house.
Jakobe nodded, biting his lip as he played with the end of his fork.
"I wish she gave me another kiss. I know her lips were soft but not that soft." Jakobe shook his head.
"Boy.." Camden dragged, stuffing his mouth with mac and cheese as he laughed.
"I really wish we was more than friends. We already know each other plus she said she likes me but, I got a feeling she is still letting the past affect her. No matter how many times I told her I forgive her." Jakobe frowned.
He wanted to be more with Paigion. He could see their future. Paigion may have said she's sorry but it wouldn't take away the fact on how she treated him when they were young.
He understands it was going to take time and he don't mind waiting until she's ready.
"Aw Ko, things going to get good. I know it's not going to last for long." Camden assures as Jakobe nodded in agreement.
"Where y'all going next? Still going to BD's?" Camden asked, changing the subject.
"Yeah then were going to walk around the outdoor mall. It's her first time going there so, I show her around." Jakobe answered.
"Cool. You know that use to be our hangout. Remember when Ashton and Rod came with us?" Camden asked, mentioning their best friends who use to go places with them.
It all stopped due to them having busy lives. Kobe wants to connect so they can relive their fun days.
"Yep. Have you been talking to them?" Jakobe asked, eating the rest of his soufflé.
"I just talk to Rod last week. He said he about to quit Target and move back to Homewood. His coworkers be wanting to try him." Camden laughs, explaining as he answered to his best friend's question.
"I don't know why he take that job. I know he lives in Tinley with his grandma but, he should have continue looking." Jakobe told, making Camden nod his head in agreement.
