11. I need your love! Sequel.
Song Ji-na's point of view.
- Thank you for having us tonight!, I shouted trough the microphone, hearing the crowds exited cheer's, lift my spirit up into the roof. Black stones where rocking the underground stages of Seoul, and was now even being a quite recognisable name. It was euphoric, and not only because of our succes, but because of my dearest friend Jindo. If we had not met that night on the train, nothing of this would have ever happend. I would never have re-united with Ri-seung, and I would have lived my life unhappily. So now, its getting clearer and clearer that Jindo, is the cause of my hapinnes. That's why she's so precious to me, and for the rest of BlackStones.
- You where so amazing tonight!, she said with a bright smile, - Yeah, I think we've never played so good before, Woo-hyun exclaimed. We where celebrating this at the bar, we usually stayed at. Hyuk-shi calmly sat, leaning against the sofa back, casually listening to the conversation like usual. We where all exited, because we had finaly managed to climb another stage of the ladder of stars. - Next week, we'll sign the record deal with Gaia entertainment right?, Shi-chan continiued, reminding us of it time after time. I nodded sightly and proud, - Oh my realy! Congratulations, Jindo cheered once again, and then we all trough our soju glasses in the air, spilling some on the table, - Cheers!
The night was long, I headed back to our beloved seventh floor apartment with Jindo. Seeing the stars twinkling above us on the night sky, we walked silently enjoying each others company for once. I blew rings of smoke into the air while thinking, hearing the summing of the city behind us. Lately we had both been apart realy, me and Jindo. I had been staying a lot at Ri-seung's apartment after we got together again, besides being busy rehearsing with Blackstones. While Jindo, had like usual searched the city for managable part time jobbs, and also visited her family back in Samcheok.
Now we where back together, like in the old times. The beginning of our pursuit of hapiness. - ey, Jindo.., I muttered and she turned around smiling at me,- huh?, - Did I ever thank you for bringing me with you to the Trapnest concert?, I asked and she suddenly looked sentimental. Thinking back. A new kind of smile appeared on her face, and she slowly nodded. It was a strange night, full of feelings. I was not sure back then why I became so emotional, if it was a reason behind it. After walking up the seven stairs, we went into each our rooms for the night. Throwing my tired body into the bed, yet finding myself sleepless.
Jindo had waked up earlier than me that morning, making pancakes for breakfast. She left a note, saying she got a new job, at some record shop. And so I ate alone, drinking juice from the one of the strawberry glasses, that was symbolic for our speacial friendship. Before I left myself, to see Ri-seung. He stayed at a luxury hotel in the center of Seoul, enjoying the life as a superstar. Several times he invited me to live with him, but I did not want to. Not even the slightliest. My home was in the apartment with Jindo, and seemingly nothing could change that.
Not even Ri-seung, who I loved very much. He who stole my heart. - Maybe when we're realy old, and I'm tired of singing, maybe then we can go live together like back in Samcheok. It was a promise I made him, when I got tired of him asking. My first actuall home was with him actually, since I was an orphan, something more we had in common.
But back then I was unhappy, and lived a harsh life. I lived with my strict grandmother, who made me follow all her strange rules. I was forbidden to wear the colours pink and red, as I was told to never attempt men like my mother had done. So I would not become like her. Woo-hyuk who was my friend even back then, introduced me to punk music. It was something I realy liked and held dear to my heart, and also the reason why I met Ri-seung.
I was kicked out of High School at the age of fifteen, after being accused of prostitution, falsely of cource. I was so mad, so angry for not being believed in. And then, then my grandmother died and I started blaming myself for it. I ended up on the street, sometimes staying at Woo-hyuk's. That night he took me to the concert to see Ri-seung, I had brought myself a red dress, it was the first time I wore a colour like that. It caught Ri-seung's eyes from the stage, and just like grandmother had warned it tempted him. Then I moved in with him, and we formed Blackstones. That's the story, as simple as that.
When Ri-seung was offered a contract, and left us. I just could not make myself follow with him, not like that. I would be so dependent on him, just being his girlfriend. So I broke his heart, in order to save my own.
