"We're home!" I yelled, walking into the living room.

Almost immediately, I was tackled to the floor a knife to my throat. Nat glared down at me. "What were you thinking?!"

I rolled my eyes. "I wasn't. And I'm fine thanks for asking."

Nat was pulled off of me and Clint scooped me up into a hug.

"So are you really okay or are you lying to us chickadee?" He mumbled.

"I'm fine Clint." I groaned. "Stop mother henning."

"Would you rather have Nat go momma spider on you?" He asked and I sighed before moving to be on his back.

"What I miss?" I asked.

"Nothing much, except that we have a mission and you-"

"Hold up, what's Loki doing?" Steve interrupted staring at Loki, who was staring out the window, tossing a ball of magic between his hands.

"His mom gave him back his magic." I said.

Clint tensed and I rested my chin on his shoulder. I mumbled reassurances to him that nothing bad would happen, that Loki wouldn't try to hurt him or anyone here.

"How do you know that?"

"I have pretty good instincts about these kinds of things you know."

"I know of eight different instances that prove you wrong."

"Guys, we should get going. We don't know how long they'll be there." Bruce said.

I dropped off of Clint. "I'm going to get ready since I'm going with you. No buts."

I hurried to my room and changed out of the Asgardian clothes and into my SHIELD uniform.

I smiled when I saw my gun resting on the dresser with a note on it from Fitz. I skimmed it before sliding the weapon into its holster.

I walked out and entered the elevator, where I found Loki and Thor waiting for me.

"How long have you been courting?" Thor asked.

"It's none of your business, Thor." I said as the elevator rose.

"I believe it is the concern of Lady Natasha and-"

"Nope. My personal life is my business. I'm an adult and I can handle myself."

Loki laughed and pulled me into a side hug. He pressed a quick kiss to the side of my head and released me moments before the doors opened.

We loaded onto the quinjet and I sat next to Steve. Nobody said anything the entire trip, though my eyes kept flicking to Loki. Our eyes locked for a second and warmth spread through my chest.

"Come on boys, let's go kick some ass." Nat walked out.

Clint gasped. "Nat, how dare you cuss in front of a child?" He gestured to me.

I rolled my eyes and got up. "This 'child' has a gun and I know how to use it. Now let's go show them what we're made of."

The battle went well, the Icers working better than I expected with enemies falling to the ground in shock.

"Percy!" Nat yelled and I turned in time to see Loki leap in front of me. My eyes widened as bullets hit him. I growled and the people who had fired fell over dead.

"We need to get out of here!" Steve yelled and I resisted the urge to sass him. I lifted Loki and rushed him out of there. As soon as I got him on the quinjet, I grabbed the first aid kit.

"You know...I can heal...myself correct?" Loki forced out.

"It's not going to do any good if the bullets are still in you." I mumbled. Putting something between his teeth won't help, he'll bite through it. Hades, I bite through it and I'm half-god not a practical god.

I pulled the bullets out and he clamped a hand over his mouth, muffling his screams.

Luckily for me, he passed out. I opened my canteen and guided water to wrap around my hands. I pressed them to the bullet holes, focusing. His wounds slowly knitted together and I sighed before falling over.

"Is she okay?" Tony asked, the metal of his suit clanging against the floor.

"Probably."

As soon as we were in the air Loki groaned.

"Brother! Are you okay?!" Thor rushed to Loki's side.

"Get away from me!" Loki thrashed and Thor pulled him close, hushing him.

I managed to haul myself up and leaned against Thor to keep myself that way. Loki eventually stopped thrashing and calmed down.

"Why'd you jump in front of Percy?" Bruce asked, yawning.

"Because I wanted to." Loki looked at his hand, at the blood coating it and then at the holes in his shirt. He frowned.

"I'm glad you're okay." I did my best to keep my eyes open, but it was hard to. Healing other people takes so much out of me and having to use more power to keep the gods from sensing me takes so much more. I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"Why did you really jump in front of her?" Clint asked.

"She's the only person who's nice to me." Loki mumbled. Thor held Loki closer to him and whispered something that I couldn't understand.

Clint picked me up before sitting back down. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head on his shoulder.

"Why'd you-"

"No one gets away with hurting anyone I care about."

"Well, be careful. I don't want them to be able to find you."

"I know how to hide myself from them Clint."

"Yeah, but the might have figured out something different by now."

"They won't be looking for me because they think I'm dead. And as long as they think I'm dead, they won't pay any attention to most of what I do."

"Except for-"

"Clint, stop worrying."

"You make it hard chickadee."
