Clarke POV
I was on my way to the local police department where they were currently holding Bellamy. The Uber driver kept giving me weird glances as if he was saying, "Why are you skipping school?"
Despite this, he never said a word, and we just drove in silence all the way to the station.
Once we got there, I got out and thanked him for the ride. He just nodded and gave a slight smile and then he drove away.
I turned toward the station and walked in. I opened the door and saw a man sitting at the front desk.
"Um excuse me?" I asked.
"Oh hello Ma'am. How can I help you?" the officer replied.
"Hi, my name is Clarke Griffin. I was called down here for Bellamy Blake?" I questioned.
"Oh yes, right this way Ms. Griffin."
The officer who I'm assuming was Tyler (the one from the phone because I recognized his voice) led me down to the back. We walked through some doors and were led to a bunch of cells. Some were empty and others had some people sitting quietly in the back.
We reached the end of the row of cells and there he was at the very back sitting down with his head in his hands.
At the sound of our footsteps, he looked up and once he saw me standing there a look of relief washed over his face.
"Clarke!" he exclaimed. "You came!" He got up and walked over to the wall of the cell right in front of me. His hands were on the bars and he was just staring at me.
"Uh, I'll give the two of you a minute. I'll be right over there is you need anything, Ms. Griffin," Tyler said as he walked away and out of earshot.
"Bellamy, what the hell is this?! What the hell did you do?!" I whisper-yelled at him through the bars.
"Listen, Clarke, I'm so sorry I dragged you into this. I just didn't know who else to call."
"Well ok, but Bell are you gonna tell me how the hell you ended up here in the first place?"
"Ok, it's a long story but after my mom died I had to start getting the money for Octavia and I. So I may or may not have joined this group of people who would help me. I'm not proud of it but I had to do it for O. And long story short, I needed some money fast to help pay for O's treatments at the hospital and they threw me under the bus."
I was at a loss for words. Why would he do that? Why wouldn't he just ask me for help?
"Bell, why didn't you tell me?"
"Princess, I couldn't drag you into the mess that is my life. Look, these are so pretty bad men and I don't want anything to happen to my best friend."
"Bell I appreciate the concern but I will help you if you need it. I would've helped you with the payments ding dong!"
"I couldn't ask you to do that Clarke."
"Well, now you don't have to. From now on, I will pay for Octavia's hospital bills. And don't even bother arguing, my mother makes more money than we know what to do with. Trust me, it's not a problem."
His face filled with gratitude and he looked like he was about to cry.
"Clarke Griffin what did I do to deserve you as a friend?"
"Honestly, I have no clue Bell," I said while laughing.
"If I could hug you right now I totally would," he said.
I laughed again, he was such a dork.
"Could you just do one more thing for me?"
I nodded, urging him to continue.
"Can you visit O for me today? I have no clue when I'm getting out of here and-"
I cut him off by saying "Oh no you don't. I'm bailing you out right now. Excuse me, officer?!"
Tyler peaked his head from the wall and walked over.
"Everything alright here?" he asked.
"Oh, everything is just fine, now what do I have to do to get Mr. Blake out of here?"
"Follow me, Ma'am."
I followed Tyler out of the room but before he was out of my sight, I glanced over at Bellamy one more time and I swear I could see a tear streak on his face.
One hour later...
I signed and paid for everything and I was being taken back to Bellamy's cell once again. Tyler took out his keys and unlocked the door.
"You're free to go Mr. Blake and might I suggest be less stupid next time?"
Bellamy laughed and said, "I can assure you officer there won't be a next time."
"Good. Now just one more thing. Ms. Griffin, could you come over here for a minute?"
I had no clue what this was about and I looked at Bellamy and shrugged. He told me he would wait for me out in the lobby and I walked over to Tyler.
"Um yes?" I asked.
"I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable Ms. Griffin but I was just wondering if I could maybe get your phone number?" he asked in a hopeful manner.
I looked at him and smiled. He was pretty cute and seemed very nice so I decided to give him a chance.
"Sure!" I said.
I put my number in his phone and he said: "Maybe I'll text you sometime."
I laughed and said, "See you around Tyler."
I walked away with a smile on my face and entered the lobby where Bellamy was waiting. He saw me and got up. We walked out of the station together and decided to walk home to my house because it wasn't far.
"So what was that about?" he finally asks me.
"Oh uh Tyler just asked me for my phone number," I said casually.
"Oh," Bellamy said. "Well did you give it to him?" he questioned.
"Uh, I actually did. Why?"
"Oh I was just wondering," he said shrugging.
I laughed. "Ok, Bell. And by the way, you have some serious explaining to do when we get home."
He laughed and said, "Whatever the hell you want Princess."
Authors note; HEY GUYS!! I haven't updated in so long and I'm so sorry. But I HAD to update for Bob Morley's birthday. My literal favorite who is the loml (who plays Bellamy if you didn't know).
ALSO, what do you guys think of Tyler? And JUST TO CLARIFY: TYLER IS NOT A 30-YEAR-OLD CREEP!! HE IS 19 AND TURING 20 IN A MONTH! CLARKE IS 17 AND ALMOST 18! Bellamy is 18 aswell. Tyler is an officer in training and just runs the desk. PLEASE DON'T JUDGE ME ON MY GOVERNMENT KNOWLEDGE! I don't really know how it actually works but I just wrote it like that so it fits the story.
Sorry for not updating and have a wonderful day/night lovelies <3
