It is about a girl named, Alondra Shabazz. Lonni for short. She is going through the struggles of becoming a young woman since she is on the verge of graduating high school. Her home life is pretty boring...

Lonni's POV
"I hope you enjoy the next 18 years with that rat bitch" I said slamming the door behind me.
I was so hurt that G went and got someone pregnant on me.. That's why I'm single now, I'm not trying to take a chance with these niggas and get my heart broken or played with. When I was with Corey, it was all lovey dovey at first, and then he cheated on me with a girl that was my bestfriend at the time. Not too long after that he up and moved to Ohio, so I was in the process of forgetting all about him; as Syd was trying to force me to do. Speaking of Syd.. I need some girl time, so I'm gonna call her so I can pick her up since I had my mom's car. I pulled out my iPhone 8 and dialed Syd.
"Hello" She answered dryly.
"What's up with you bitch? Why you sound all depressed?"
"Nothing. Just bored to be honest." She replied.
"Well I can come pick you up since I have the car. I'm not too far."
"Ok. I'm gonna put you on speaker while I pack a bag.."
"So are you ready for Gio's party Saturday?" She added.
I rolled my eyes internally Fuck him.. stupid ass nigga
"Why you say that? What happened?
I sat there in silence for a second, not realizing I had said that out loud.
"He got that rat bitch pregnant! I told you me and him were working towards being serious. Now all that shit is done for. Maybe I'm overreacting, but I barely want to go to his damn surprise party. I'll cuss his ass out again!" I vented.
"Well technically y'all was never together, so you can't really be mad. It's not like he's fucking you AND the girl and won't commit to you, but will turn around and commit to a whole ass baby that's probably not even his!" Syd said getting louder with each word.
She calmed down before she started talking again. She changed the topic and started telling me about some drama between some girls that we graduated with.. If I'm being honest though, Syd has been acting kind of off lately. I can't guess what it is but it's starting to worry me. I thought it was drugs, but I know Syd would never do that. It just seems like her mood is always shifting. I'm gonna have to find a way to talk to her about it. ***
