Alexander POV:

I arrive at the lake, and saw her standing on the bank, her bright crimson hair was down, flowing in the wind. She was wearing a black dress with draping sleeves that grazed the ground. I walk over, and kneel behind her.

" Hello, my Queen. Your king has arrived."

She turned around, her emerald eyes were smiling, twinkling like the stars above us, the white rosettes on her dress felt like a ironic mockery of the woman wearing it.

" Hello, my new king. I felt you steal my bind, and when I felt it was you who stole it from Alucard, I was gleeful. I knew you were worthy of the title, I just needed to present the proper situation. Understand to be with me, you must know pain, vengeance, and a lust for bloodshed."

" I do, my Queen, I knew you would never betray me, just as I will never betray you."

" Does Cerberus know we are here?"

Part of me wanted to lie, but a part of me knew better, a wriggling fear told me to be blunt and honest.

" Yes, my Queen, he does."

" Great, this is just fucking swell."

I arose from where I was, and carefully held her from behind, wrapping my arms around her, placing tender kisses on her temple in comfort.

" If it would please you, I could make you forget about that wretched dog."

" And just how do you suggest this, my servant?"

" The only way I do, for now that is. To bring you to a height of bliss only I can give you, Servus."

I could feel her body writhing, her ass grinding into me. A seductive giggle fell from her ruby lips, her gold lined emerald eyes looking up into mine, and I felt her desire radiate through me.

" Do you promise, Dominus?"

" On my very heart and life."

She kissed me, and it quenched the ache in my chest, the hunger I felt was sedated partially, the fire that longed for her kindling was now blazing properly once more. In a flick of her wrist, her nails had slashed down the buttons on my shirt, popping them off in rapid succession. I ran my hands down her sides, the cool silk dress she was wearing made my skin goose flesh, and just as quickly, we were laying in the moss on the bank, her beautiful visage burning into the back of my mind, every flawless curve, her ivory-ed mocha skin glowing under the moonlight, the waning crescent smiling down on us.

" Where is your mark, my love?"

" On my heart, where it belongs, my love."

" Show me, my king."

I took off my jacket, my now destroyed button up, and threw off my undershirt, the crimson mark looked like it was glowing like molten metal, and it cooled from her touch, tracing it caused my body to shiver, a very low growl fell from my chest.

" It looks so beautiful on you, among the constellation of scars you possess, you are my sanguinem regem." (blood king)

" And you my Queen of bloodshed."

I felt her kiss me, my vision going fuzzy from her removing my glasses. I rolled her to be on top of me, my bare back was cooled by the moss beneath me. I closed my eyes, and let my other senses take over. The subtle sounds of her undoing my belt, the warm touch of her fingers tracing my chest and the brand, and the sudden coolness that came from being stark bare at night in the forest.

I felt her kisses trace a couple of scars, then the sudden bliss of her hot core on my hardened body. As she ground into me, riding my body, I held her hips, helping her body slam into mine, driving the ecstasy to the farthest brink it could get before the wave of euphoria washed over us, and I felt the bind rune sear my body, sending a hot flash of pain and fire into my chest. She climbed off, pulling the dress back on, as I rebuckled my slacks and belt.

" How does it feel, to have the power that having that rune gives? The uncontrollable devotion and desire to love and do anything to serve me?"

" I never needed a rune to do that. All it does is amplifies how I already felt."

I put my glasses back on, and I saw her face holding disbelief.

" You don't mean that, you are lying."

" I don't lie. I refuse to lie, especially to you. I already loved you. I already wanted to devote myself to you."

She rolled over, and touched the rune, and shock filled her once angered face of disbelief.

" You...you are serious. You really didn't need the rune. You love me. Why?"

" What's not to love? You are a skilled fighter, you revel in the fight like I do, although to a different degree, and you are simply an interesting individual to look at and watch in action. You had wormed yourself into my head after our first meeting, and into my heart upon our escapades in the Hellsing dungeon. You said I had your heart, and I took that to mean what you had said. I love you, from the beautiful mane of blood red crimson on your head, to the emerald eyes that give these very mossy banks envy, how your skin glows under the moon like the beacon of light it is to me, even your fanged smile makes my spine shiver with how it could render me docile. I adore you, my Queen, my hellion, my demonic abomination of Typhon's design. I love all of you."

She looked to be ready to cry, and I felt the rune disappear, and I saw her slowly change. Her hair went from crimson to a very deep milk chocolate brown, her skin slowly became darker, but not by much, even her eyes became less like jewels and more dull, like a humans. She had freckles across her chest and the bridge of her nose, her fangs had all disappeared.

" Caedis, what's happening?"

" You said you loved me even as a monster. I was a cannibalistic, horrid creature, and you still loved me. Typhon and Echidna said that the only way to melt a monsters frozen heart was to be loved by a fire hotter than any in Tartarus. You loved beyond reason, with an intensity like a holy fire, and you melted my heart. I'm no longer trapped in that curse placed on me by Typhon. For the first time in centuries, I am free. I haven't been free since I was 5."

Caedis hugged me, crying into my chest with a smile, her joy was overbearing her. I just held her, letting her feel safe for the first time in centuries.
