today was a special day to my whole basketball team , us seniors were saying goodbye to the highschool ball life and moving on to college level ball
i walked out my last block going into the gym greeting nuke and dalton , "wassam fuck niggas" i yelled dapping them
"only fuck nigga ova here is you" nuke said laughing
"how you feel bout getting to cut the near dawg" dalton asked as i took a seat on the bleacher beside them
"shiiit it feel nice , issa honor to cut the net" i responded , as my couch walked in with the sissors
he handed then to me and nodded , i took that as my cue to go cut the net

after cutting the net i went back home to sapphire who was taking a deep nap
"baby" i whispered shaking sapphire
"mmm" she mumbled sitting up
"don't you got an appointment today?" i asked getting her shoes out
"oh shit come on" she hopped up , falling back down onto the bed holding her back
out of instinct i grabbed her up holding her into me "yo sapphire we need to get you checked out bout that back stuff"
she nodded putting her shoes on slowly , then grabbing her keys and walking to her car
"sapphire do you hear me i'm serious , that back stuff could be serious" i repeated getting in the car
