A/n Nani?! A La Squadra subplot?? Perhaps. :) I will be posting this between main plot poly endings as much as I can update
You see him again and start making excuses to be around him more and for subplot you go to their hideout a lot with the others
You were on your way home from school, and Narancia had stayed home sick so you intended to pay him a visit. However, your plans were side tracked when you noticed a familiar towering man in striped pants a ways ahead of you.
His stride was monumentally quicker than yours and you found yourself running, soon into a sprint before you could stop yourself. You fell into a heaving mess to catch your breath beside Risotto as he eyed you curiously. "Y/n? What are you doing here?"
"Ris-o-tto-"
"Catch your breath first." You complied and straightened up casually.
"Just on my way home. Why are you out here, aren't you in a gang?"
"Home? That was 5 houses back. And I can protect myself fine, thank you, so being on the streets is nothing. Plus, we're in the suburbs." He continued to look at your features as you strolled beside him. "Why are you following me?"
"Because I thought I would never see you again?" You smiled comfortingly at him as he took a left, you following in suit.
"Why would you want to? You do realize I kidnapped you."
"It was technically your underlings who did." He looked down, slightly frustrated as his pace quickened.
"Don't be so trusting, go home and be safe." He ordered and disappeared between two houses before you could stop him. Sighing, you made your way to Narancia's house.
You opened to an empty living room and wandered down the hall to his room to find him half asleep and tucked in bed. "Nara." You cooed, gaining his attention.
"What're you doing here?" You winced at the rasp in his voice as you pulled out a bag of strawberry cough drops and DayQuil you had purchased earlier. Setting the medicine on the dresser, you tossed the cough drops into his lap.
"Just came to check on you, how are you holding up?" You poured the respective amount of medicine and sat next to him.
He hugged the covers up to him as he downed the cold medicine and beamed up at you. "Thank you for coming, but I don't wanna get you sick." He complained as a shiver overtook his body.
"Nara, you know I don't care." He shot you an uncertain look as you fell beside him, wrapping an arm over him and relaxing your head on his shoulder. "See?" He mumbled against you with a grin and hugged you.
You eventually escaped his sickly grasp to the kitchen. Figuring it couldn't hurt to make him homemade soup rather than just a plain can. You noticed he didn't have any chicken, but that wouldn't restrict you from getting the same flavor. You pulled out the ingredients you could work with from his kitchen and got to work.
The broth was simmering, it's decadent scents evaporating into the air as you tossed in the noodles and array of vegetables.
You filled a bowl generously when it was done, leaving a trail of steam through the hallway as you found Narancia asleep in his room again.
Placing a note next to the soup, you took your leave to go home.

Over the next three days you solemnly waited for the oncoming cold to overtake you. You were now on a grocery run for your mom, boredom overtaking you as you neared the store.
As you stepped in to grab a basket you noticed Risotto entering, and turned to stand before him. "Shopping?" You lightly teased as he motioned for you to walk and followed suit.
"I'm after someone, keep shopping." You led him down the appropriate aisle, your eyes scanning the shelves as you spoke.
"For your..work?" He simply nodded as you set some soy sauce into the basket as Trish ran up to you.
"Y/n!" Her bright pink hair radiated into Risotto's eyes as she wrapped you into a suffocating hug. "Oh, who's this?" She smiled up at Risotto as his eyes burned into hers.
"Trish, Risotto. Risotto, Trish." You introduced, trying to ease Risotto's harsh glare.
"Trish!" You recognized Doppio's voice as he signaled her to him.
"Sorry, we're in a rush. Bye y/n and you too Risotto." She chirped, disappearing down the aisle as you found a couple more things on the scrawled list.
"Suiting." Risotto commented lowly.
"Hmm?"
"Nothing, give me that list." You dodged his dash for it and ripped it in half, giving him the upper.
"I already got the first three, and don't you have someone to find?" You were met with a grunt as he gave you back the upper half and snatched the lower from your grip before you could defend it.

You exited the store with a few bags, Risotto surveying beside you. "There. Wait here." He demanded, slinking off after a middle aged man climbing into his car.
They both seemed to vanish before your eyes, Risotto back to your side only a minute later. "..What happened?"
"Took care of business, come on." He said nonchalantly and slipped a few bags out of your hands into his.
"Where to?"
"Well you see, he knew too much so he went to somewhere he can't run his mouth. You know much more than you should, but you, I want to let you live. So just come back to the hideout a bit to go prove you'll keep quiet."
"..What about the groceries?" You felt your heart quicken, Risotto's speech of his job involving you have you a jolt of fear. But he said he wanted to let you live, right?
"It's 11 on a Saturday, your mom won't be home until 4." You decided not to question on how much he knew about you and whistled beside him as he led you down the road.

"..I thought being a gangster would be more enthralling." You slyly smiled as Risotto tossed an ink filled paper in your content face and lowly sighed."You wanna come on the next mission or something, eh?"
