I waited near the entrance of the boys locker room. 'Lloyd is sure is taking his time. Hope nothing bad happened.' Many boys exited the locker room and still no sign of Lloyd. I began to worry. 'Maybe I should- no y/n. We'll get in trouble.' I groan in frustration.
"Y/n, what the fuck? You double crosser, you son of a bitch." Taylor stomps her way up to me.
"You better have a good explanation for this." She crosses her arms. Her face twisted in an angry expression. I froze not knowing what to do next.
"Well you see- I umm, Lloyd figured the whole plan out? And he umm... shit I can't think of anything else. You caught me but I never even wanted to be part of this in the first place. Please show some little mercy." I begged. Taylor stay quiet until a giant smirk found its way onto her face. The angry expression now replace with a smirk.
"You know what? Fine, I'll show you mercy by not beating into a pulp." I awkwardly smile not knowing what's going on. "Y/n, you have potential, so whenever you get bored of your new friends. Call me and we can take over this sad little place." Taylor got extremely close to my face leaving no space between us.
"Until then, have fun being an outcast just like your friends." She loudly laughs as she walks away. 'What just happen...?' I slid down the wall not knowing what to do next. "Who the fuck is this girl?" I said quietly. This day started off good, because I met Nya and few of her friends but now... I don't know anymore. 'Why couldn't the orphanage escape unscathed this time? Why now of all the time.'
"Are you okay y/n? Why are you sitting here on the ground? Isn't better on the benches?" I looked up to see Lloyd.
"Yup, just confuse. Taylor just confronted and she said some crap, but did nothing else." Lloyd sat beside me and pull out my necklace.
"Sorry it took so long, Taylor's boyfriend tried to steal it away from me." He said as gave the necklace back to me. I just smile and said a little thank you. I put on my necklace as the grey- purple tone of the gem shines.
*Ring* *Ring*
"Looks like that's the last bell. I'm guessing you're going back on the school bus?"
"Yeah since it's my only ride." We grab are school bags and walk out of the gym. The hallway was flooded with kids.
"Oh boy, that's a lot of people..." I said nervously. Lloyd links his arm with mines.
"Just try to keep up okay." I shook my head as he swiftly made through the giant crowd. I notice that some students tried to trip Lloyd. He would lose his balance and be pushed against the other kids, but I at least tried to help him regain his balance. It didn't take long for us to make it outside. We stop at the sidewalk in front of the school.
"So this is where we part ways." He awkwardly says. I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. I huffed in response.
"Of course not, we'll get to see each other tomorrow, aren't we?" Lloyd had this almost surprise expression on his face. As if he didn't expect me to say that. "You can't get rid of me that easily. Especially, after what happened with Taylor. Now I think about it, you owe me." Lloyd continues to look at me.
"Yeah, and the only way to pay me back is becoming my friend. That sounds reasonable enough." I said by now pulling words from my ass. Lloyd's expression changed into a happy one. He begins to laugh. I couldn't help but feel warm.
"That- that was so cliche..." Lloyd calms down from his fit of laughter. His bright green eyes seem to shine even brighter. I could feel my face heating up.
