I stare out of a window, mad from the very recent events. No words can describe how livid I am. I let out an annoyed huff.
"Ummm, y/n? I think it will help relief some of your anger if you told me what happened?"
I coldly glance at Amie. She shrink back into her bed as her eyes darts around the her room. Guilt rushes through me, hitting me like a god damn brick. I took a moment to myself as I tried to collect myself.
"Sorry Amie, it's just..." How do I exactly say this without revealing anything?
"Just got some friend trouble. I can tell you tomorrow, if you want but not right now. I'm kind of tired."
Amie just sat there, obviously showing there was something on her mind. I clench my fists, knowing I was the cause of it.
"Amie, I know that face. Tell what's wrong?"
"It's just- I mean is that- people at school are kind of talking... about you."
I narrow my eyes wanting her to press on. Amie refuse to make eye contact with me.
"Like what?"
"I don't know... a lot of things? When people found out you like hangout with... your friends, they didn't really like that. Until they heard you hangout with Taylor too."
"More like was force to hangout with Taylor." I said sassily, I was not having a good day. Amie hesitates.
"Either way, I found out she has something "big" for you tomorrow at school." Amie made an annoyed frustrated face.
"-and are we not going to talk about how you came to my aunt house covered in bandages, scratches and bruises! Not to mention, your clothes were completely torn! You looked so drained and tired!!!" She nearly yells. Amie was upset and I couldn't blame her.
I made my focus land on the busy city outside the window.
"I kind of did do that, huh?"
'Should I even tell her?' I didn't answer not wanting to lie to her.
"You're not even going to tell on how you got hurt so badly?"
"Look Amie, it's been a huge rollercoaster for me. It happen a while ago, when I ran into this old man. He knew me and I guess... I kind of knew him. The old man took me in a couple of days after you left." I stand up and begin to pace around the room. Amie sat on her bed quietly listening. Happy that she was finally getting some sort of answer.
"T-then I started to learn more about me... my past and... It was something, I guess." I faceplant onto Amie's bed. She changes her position to face me better. "Yet, they still treat me like a child." I said looking at the wall next to me.
'You should tell her. What harm can it bring her? Come on Y/n, tell her~'
'No I can't- but' my eyes made my way to Amies'. She was still mad. 'It can't hurt her... If she knew, right?'
I was about to open my mouth until I felt a pat on my back.
"If you don't want to tell it's fine. I'm not going to pressure into saying anything, just know I worry about you and that I will never tell anyone."
Amie looks down at me with a soft smile. A smile that reminds me of someone, someone important.
"You're a good friend, Amie."
"Of course I am!"
We laugh at the sudden mood change. Glad that it was over.
"Hey after school, do you want to go to the mall? My aunt gave a debit card so don't worry, we don't have to steal anything not like last time~" She said teasingly. My face got red from the memory.
