I was sitting at by myself at lunch. Nobody came to school today. Which only put my terrible mood even worse.
"I should just skip the next class period." Today was a B-day and I was meant to spend this day with Lloyd, but he wasn't here nor the rest of the group. I stop going through my phone, the battery at 15%. Earlier in the morning, I was so excited to see Lloyd and the rest, especially Lloyd. I couldn't help that my heart began to race at the idea of spending a day with him, but that feeling went down the drain. Instead the unsettling feeling replaced my excitement.
Therefore, I am sitting here with no lunch, looking through my feed, and with a terrible gut feeling all alone. I look out the lunchroom windows. The clouds were very dark like a storm. The way it look gave me a bad feeling. I don't know how, but I feel something terrible will happen. I just don't know when.
I tore my eyes away from the dark atmosphere and focus on something else. Unfortunately, Taylor made into my view. She was chatting away with her friends. Taylor glance at me and a smirk made it across her face. We held eye contact for a few seconds.
"Hey y/n, why don't you sit here with us today?" Taylor shouted across the room. Few people began to whisper. I just stay silent not wanting to reply to her. This move apparently pissed her off.
"Y/N!!! I won't say it again, come SIT over here right now!" I flinch at her tone. After a few seconds, I got out of my seat and went with Taylor. She moves a girl who was sitting next to her, so I could sit in her seat. I sat there uncomfortably, as the tension thickens.
"So y/n? Where are you precious friends?" Taylor asks.
"I-I don't really know?" I said shifting in my seat. Nobody dared talk, probably because they didn't want to upset Taylor. Her smirk widens at my answer. 'Uh oh. I'm in trouble now.'
"You have their numbers right? Can you text them, after all they're your friends right?" She said mischievously. Taylor took a bite out of lunch, humming in delight. I began to fiddle with my hands.
"Yeah we are friends, it's just that we were too busy hanging out." I said quietly.
"Are you sure? Trust me y/n I see this type of behavior before." I perked up, seeming to gain interest in what she has to say. She took another bite from her lunch.
"Let me guess, they welcome you with open arms and now they're nowhere to be seen. Y/n sweety, your precious friends are ghosting you. I bet you twenty bucks that they planned not coming to school today." I froze in my spot. I know deep down what she's telling lies... but a part of me believes her. Taylor turn to me as she lays her head on the palms of her hands. A sweet smile stretch across her face.
"Y/n, the honey~ they're the outcast for a reason." I just stare at her, eating up her lies. Oh how I want to stop, but I couldn't. Anger flooded through me. Taylor softly chuckles.
"You know my offer still stands, y/n." She stretched her hand out to me. "Tell me do want show those losers, who's really in charge." I stare at her hand, knowing I shouldn't take it. Yet the anger didn't went away.
'ꂑꋖ ꂑꌚ ꋖꂑꂵꈼ ꋖꂦ ꂵꁲꀗꈼ ꐞꂦꐇꌅ ꀯꍩꂦꂑꀯꈼ.'
Sirens were ringing. Everyone was evacuating the school. I was being pushed by the crowd as they drag me to the front of the school. The city was "shockingly" was being under attack, but nobody knows what though.
Through the huge crowd I spotted Amie. She was sadly being pushed against the wall. I tried to make it to, but the flood of students made it difficult.
