(Third person)
7 daughters later with all of them looking similar but be nothing alike, have their prominent features, different likes and dislikes and different hairstyles.
You would think that no one would mind if someone was different out of the flock but guess again!
(Reader), the youngest sister, is what you would call the outcast of the family. Don't get me wrong, everyone loves her but they just don't connect with her as they would with others, leaving her with not a lot of friends.
But (Reader doesn't mind, she could care less. She is more focused on training and learning military strategies to worry about stuff like boys, make-up and hair like her sisters do.
(Reader) when she was 10, was swimming past one of the general's adult training lessons one day and saw them sword fighting with each other. When their swords clashed sparks flew. (Reader) was amazed at the skill and power those men and women possessed. After watching them she wanted to become someone like that who protects their friends and family from the ones who want to hurt them.
She was so memorized by them that she ran to her dad and begged him furiously to let her go to these lessons to the point where he just said yes to shut her up.
He asked the general himself to put her in one of his lessons which caused the general to freak out. He was worried that if he put her with her age group that she would get hurt making the king punish him for causing his daughter to get hurt. To avoid that outcome he pushed her into his beginner's class with kids 3 years younger than her.
When she first got in, she got pushed around a lot because of her small stature and was having a hard time catching up with the rest who have already begun training before she joined.
She noticed that the kids she trained with started hating her for what she thought was for no reason until she noticed the way the general was treating her. Whenever they were learning a "hard" technique, she was put on the sidelines and made to watch causing the kids to think she was useless. Another thing was that whenever she was sparring with someone, whatever the kid did the general would rush over and scold the kid.
Because of this (Reader) pushed herself to prove herself by training hard day and night until her muscles grew and her skills were up.
One day the most advanced kid in the class was looking for a sparring partner. This kid was bigger than all the rest of them and was way ahead than anyone so all the kids backed up not wanting to fight leaving (Reader) to stand there herself.
She challenged the advanced kid attracting a crowd. The two circled each other for a bit before the big kid rushed (Reader). (Reader) not fazed grabbed the kids outstretched arm, turned around and flipped the kid onto their back. After flipping the kid she looked up the general who had his mouth wide open and told him to stop babying her and sassily swam off.
After that, she was moved up to her level group and became the general's best student.
Since that day she has climbed the ranks from a rookie to something like the head guard. The General with his grey hair completely adores (Reader) since she is the first princess in his time to become interested in fighting. He always brags to anyone he comes across about how good she is and how he was the one who taught her.
Her family, on the other hand, found her quite weird, not understanding why she would rather get dirty and fight with big weapons than sing and dress up like the rest of them but not Ariel.
Ariel her older sister just above her supported her and gave her all the love she could to make up for the lack of with the rest of the family. (Reader) also had Sebastian who she calls Sebby and Flounder who also supported her and encouraged her to keep going.
The public didn't complain as they had another experienced person who would lead them if they ever went to war.
There is also another reason why (Reader) is an outcast to her family and it's that she isn't a very emotional person. She is very straight forward, sarcastic, blunt, she doesn't show a lot of emotion and doesn't like getting into other people's life's which is different from all her sisters as they wear their emotions on their sleeves and strive for drama.
Now I'm not saying that she doesn't care for anyone, no (Reader) may have a cold exterior but she is a softy at heart.
Her father was disappointed that she didn't turn out like the rest of her sisters but did try to support her when he wasn't already occupied with the rest.
(Readers) life was pretty calm and she loved it that way as she could train as much as she liked and didn't have to worry about anything but that soon changed.

Plz, stick around for the next chapter!!!
