Princey lead Ariel and I into his home which was the castle that sat on the coast of the sea.
It was a marvellous place with tall ceilings, pristine white columns, shining floor of tile and beautiful paintings everywhere!.
One painting did catch my eye when we walked past it, it was of a little girl swinging on a contraption I have never seen before but would love to try.
The two love birds must have noticed my absence as Princey called out of me with a big smile while Ariel glared at me, probably for stealing the attention away.
Princey led the two of us to a grand staircase with a massive photo of himself centre stage to it.
'Wow he's ego must be massive' I thought, rolling my eyes at the sheer size of it.
"Prince Eric! where have you been? I looked everywhere for you" The man I saw on the boat that night who unveiled the stupid statue of Princey came rushing over with flushed cheeks.
"Oh your such a worrywart Grimsby" Princey brushed the man's concern off "But don't worry about that, please gather some maids and two rooms for these two ladies here. Treat them like guests" Princey ordered Grimsby who looked at Ariel and I with shocked.
He looked at our clothes and messed up hair with disapproval and he tried to express this to us as he made distinct eye contact with the two of us. Ariel flinched and looked away from him but when he looked to me, he shivered in fear as I glared at him harshly.
Grimsby quickly pulled Princey away from us and tried to whisper but failed.
"B-b-ut Prince Eric, who even are these girls?" Grimsby questioned him with worried eyes and a deep frown "They could be anyone with hidden negative agendas for all we know".
Ariel seemed to huff in frustration at Grimsby suspicion. She crossed her arms and stopped her foot.
'Well I would be suspicion too if two half naked girls waltzed in with the prince who declared them as guests'
"Look at those two, do you really think they would want to harm anyone?" Princey pointed over to us 'discreetly'. Ariel pulled her innocent face at him which she uses all the time to get out of trouble while I just smirked at Grimsby causing him to shiver again.
'This is fun' I thought, amused at how easy it was to tease the old man.
"Their just girls after all" Princey argued. Grimsby took another look at us before turning to Princey "Yeah, sure girls" He said while glancing my way.
Princey shook his head at the man's actions but didn't comment "Now can you please gather some maids and organizing rooms for these girls".
When the maids did come I was introduced to my personal maid as they called her, who was named Anna. Anna had beautiful straight black hair that was unfortunately tied up in a bun but it commented her look. She had bright green eyes that contrasted nicely with her pale white skin making her eyes pop. She had a slim build but with years of experience of being a maid, you could see some muscle in her arms.
"Hi I'm Anna and I will be your personal maid for the time you are here" Anna politely introduced herself, bowing deeply.
'Must also be etiquette over here to bow to higher ups' I thought, reminiscing about my time back home 'ugh get together (Reader)! this is your home now'
I tried to introduce myself too but quickly remembered that I couldn't speak. I motioned for something to write one and Anna went off to retrieve it for me.
