Chapter 10

"Poor children" A voice spoke stopping us in the midst of our argument. I looked around to try and find the voice and found too sketchy eels swimming towards us.

I glared suspiciously at them while Ariel hid behind me. 

*If only i had my sword right now*

"Poor, sweet Children" The voice spoke making me realise it was the two eels speaking to us.

"They have a very serious problem" One of the eels spoke, swimming next to us and smirking at us with it's crooked teeth.

"If only there was something we could do?" The other one chimed in, talking to its friend like we weren't there. 

Ariel curious at what they were talking about, swam out from behind me and stared at them with interest. At her gaze the eels seemed to smirk somehow bigger than before.

"But there is something"  The other one finished, both smirking in our direction waiting for our obvious questions.

"Who, who are you?" Ariel asked them in a soft voice, still staring at them in interest.

*Can't judge though because i am getting interested in what they are talking about too*

"Don't be scared" One came up to Ariel, speaking in a soft voice to soothe her "We represent someone who can help" The other spoke from the besides us, swimming lazily past.

"Someone who can make all your dreams come true, just imagine" The both spoke, one came in front of me and one in front of Ariel.

"You and your prince" the one in front of Ariel spoke and motioned to her smirking "And you being free from those that don't appreciate you" The one in front of me said also smirking "Together and free" When they mentioned the ones who don't appreciate me, all i could think was how my life has been a lie and how badly my family has treated me.

"I don't understand" Ariel said confused, wanting more information about what they are talking about.

"Ursula has great powers" That name made Ariel and i shocked, not thinking she would be brought up.

"The sea witch" I spoke, glaring at the eels in suspicion "Why do we have to go to her?" I questioned them.

"If you don't want her help then suit yourself" The eels said before nearing the door "Was just an suggestion".

Before they could leave they were stopped when Ariel told them to stop.

They turned around smirking at us "Yes?" They both asked.

I honestly don't trust a thing about the sea witch but if she can get me out of my hellhole then i am going to go along with it despite the possible consequences.

"Lead us to her" I spoke to the two eels in my 'knight voice' which i noticed made them smirk more but didn't say anything.

"Follow us" they beckoned, waiting for us to swim to them before going out the door.

Flounder and Sebastian caught us swimming out with the two eels and came up to us

"Girls, where are you going with these things?" Sebastian sneered at the eels who just smirked back. He turned to us and looked at me especially for answers

"We're going to see Ursula" I told him in a cold voice as he was essentially to blame for the whole mess back in the cave.

"Girls no!" Sebastian shouted, grabbing onto Ariel's tail to try and stop her "She's a demon, she's a monster" He ranted but we wouldn't hear any of it.

"Why don't you go back and tell our father, your good at that" Ariel told him, flicking him off her tail leaving him shocked.

When we got there, the place had a very eerie vibe with the underground volcanoes especially active here as they constantly blew steam and some lava at us but that wasn't what freaked me out, no it was the fact that Ursula lived in the skeleton of a dinosaur fish.

Ariel and me become concerned about the place but the eels pushed on leaving us to follow them into the mouth of the dinosaur fish.

We somehow made it past Ursula's creepy interior design to hear a sultry voice call us in further.

"Come in, come in my children, we must not lurk in doorways" Ursula soon revealed herself as she came out of a big shell.

"It's rude, one might question your upbringing" She taunted while swimming over to a table and mirror perched in a wall.

She sat down in the chair and began applying her makeup.

"Now then, your here because one of you has a thing for a human and the other is the bastard child of the royal family"

I became frozen in my spot at her words "How?" I uttered, staring at her confused and scared.

"Oh, i know everything about the royal family, nothing gets past me" She said while eyeing me from the mirror.

"How, how did i come to be the bastard?" I asked her hesitantly. Ursula didn't even get up from her chair just smirked at me through her mirror.

"it's simple dear, daddy dearest while his wife was pregnant with the daughter next to you got, how do i saw this, frustrated in that way" Ariel and i grimaced at her words knowing exactly what she meant

"One day when the kingdom was celebrating one of your sisters birthdays, your father noticed the beauty and grace of a dancer who was there for the celebration. He courted her when his wife was away and had his way with her. That night resulted in you but the dancer didn't want you so once she had you she gave you up to your father and didn't return"

Her words crushed me hard because now i can't keep denying it anymore.

"What did mothe... The queen do?" i asked.

The sea witch smiled at me which seemed to have a sad undertone "She was angry that's for certain but she forgave your father stupidly in my opinion, and raised you like a daughter"

*Ah yeah i remember those days of playing with mum and everyone but that's when everyone became heartless when she died*

"Enough about her now, what about my solution" Ariel cut in, glaring at me.

"Well, the solutions to your problems is simple" Ursula applied makeup to her lips and puckered them in the mirror "The only way to get what you two want is to become a human"

*Human!!*
