Imagine: You share your first kiss with Mordred after he proposes to you.

"We just have one small problem..." Y/n mumbled softly and Mordred opened his mouth to speak but was cut off "Yes you do" they heard a voice above them and there stood Arthur himself with crossed arms and a look that could kill. Merlin stood behind him and gave a nervous smile. "We need to talk...Now" Arthur raised a brow and pointed to Y/n and Mordred.

Mordred looked at Arthur nervously as he slowly rose up from the ground. Y/n following him and they walked up to Arthur and Merlin. Arthur pulled Mordred aside and Y/n stood anxiously with Merlin and the duo watched in worry as the conversation took place in front of them. Y/n felt her heart beat fast as she noticed Arthur's eyes grew hard and intimidating towards Mordred's whose eyes were uneasy. Merlin held Y/n's hand carefully in reassurance as he also felt anixety build with each passing second. 

Arthur crossed his arms across his chest as he turned swiftly to face Mordred. "So when was I to be made aware of this?" he questioned the Knight and Mordred swallowed heavily "Arthur, before you assume anything-" he began and the King raised a brow "Assume? I was merely asking why I wasn't infromed about your decision to ask my sister to marry you? That's all" Arthur gave a questioning smirk and he flashed his gaze to his unsettled sister and Arthur looked back to Mordred. "I love your sister Arthur. I have the moment I laid eyes upon her, I know you would rather find her a suitable marriage to another prince or King. But please I would love nothing more than to be the perfect husband for your sister. I will cherish, love and care for her for as long as we live. I'll never hurt her, I'll never use her and I'll never betray her trust and love. I promise to always be there for her, through her happiness and through her sadness. If you will allow this I will not make you regret it" Mordred spoke confidently to Arthur as the King looked at him in thought. And he finally gave a nod with a smile "I must say, that was well said Sir Mordred. You have my blessing to marry Y/n" Arthur placed a hand on the Knight's shoulder reasuringly and Mordred smiled warmly "Thank you, your grace" he bowed and turned to face Y/n with a grin and Y/n returned it and ran into his arms as he swung her around. "Right Merlin! Let's go we have a wedding to prepare for" Arthur shouted to Merlin as they rode back to Camelot and announced the wedding between Sir Mordred and Princess Y/n.

Mordred stood at the end of the red carpet as he fidgeted with his red cloak and brushed his clothes. Merlin walked over and offered a kind smile "You will be fine Mordred. I'm very happy for you both" Merlin spoke softly and Mordred offered the same smile back "Thank you Merlin, or should I say Emrys" he gave a slight bow of his head and Merlin walked back and stood with Gaius. Arthur walked up the few steps with his crown on his head with Gwen by his side and Mordred smiled at the King and Queen and bowed as he kneeled before them. Arthur told everyone to stand and the doors opened and Mordred took in a deep breath and turned around. His breath hitched and there she was walking down the aisle graciously Princess Y/n. His bride. Mordred smiled and he felt tears prick the corners of his eyes, the vibrant blue of his iris' shining from the water building from his tears. Y/n smiled at all the people as she walked down and her eyes came in contact with his and she felt her heart stop. His red cloak hung loosely over his formal clothing as he watched her walk down towards him. His black hair neatly brushed and his eyes dancing with happiness and excitement. Y/n reached Mordred as she placed her hand on top of his and while taking in a deep breath.
