(16) AC Come Back

"---and remember Bart?" Ali asks. She was laying on a floor with her head elevated on some books. She was dying. She had a hole through her body where her heart should be and tears on her cheeks. I was trying to keep her talking. "He was a good kid, Roy." Ali's voice was fading.

"Who else do you remember? What else?" I hold back a cry. Tears started down. Ali tries to grab my face gently but ends up with a soft punch. I help her and she wipes away my tears.

"I know what you're trying to do Roy." Her voice almost gone. "I need to talk to my parents now, but I love you." Her pulse stops.

I gasp and wake up to the team surrounding me. "Did she-" I start with a moan.

"Yeah she knocked you out really bad." Nightwing says. I stand up although the team tries to put me back on the couch. I start pacing back and forth. At least she's not dead. I hope. I sigh in relief and worriedness.

I looked over Aphrodite who seemed to be looking out of space. I walled to her and sat in front of her.

"You ok?" I asked

"I'm cool, I guess. My head hurts like hell." She answered

"Same. You think Ali is alright?" I asked

"She's fine, Roy. If anyone can protect themselves its Ali." She said

"But-" I start

"No, we are not going to sit around and cry. We'll find her or she'll find us." Aphrodite said.

I nod with a smile.

Aphrodite smiled back and hugged me. She got up and walked towards Wally who was talking to Nightwing and overjoyed Flash. I walk to a computer to try and track her. I knew she wouldn't have a tracker on her.

"Where are you?" I mumble to myself. I was determined to find Ali. My computer screen closed suddenly barely missing my fingers. I looked up to Aphrodite again.

"We got an probelm." She said

"Bigger than an missing Ali?" I asked

"You tell me." Aphrodite said as she pointed to the window

I turned and saw aliens, monsters, mind controlled superheroes, and King. No Ali.

"Just an little bigger." I said then sigh.

"I promise we'll look for her after this." Aphrodite says looking at me with sympathy.

I nodded and Aphrodite side hugged me. I hugged her back.

"Let's go like some-" I say but already started before I finished my sentence.

We all fought.

Soon enough we had taken down all of the aliens and monsters, fixed all the mind controlled heroes, and now stood I front of King.

"Tell me where AC is or I'll shoot!" I yell. We had circled him. I could have come back with something better.

King laughs. "Not likely." he states. All of the members' eyes rolled back into their heads.

"You'll be too busy fighting each other." he laughs. "Get him." he walks away as the Young Justice attacks me.

Again Aphrodite screamed. Everyone just started fighting each other.

"Why do you just inflict pain on Red Hood?" I said as I kick King's legs

"That's for me to know and you to find out." He replied

He slipped from under my foot and ran to that stupid plane of his. Overall, we won. We all fell to floor exhausted.

"Guys?" Max called out
