(19) Aphrodite's Birthday

Aphrodite Pov

I watched them leave and I silently thank god. I need to talk to Ali alone so I sent them out. Ali turns to me. "Hi." She smiles.

I smiled back weakly.

"So, are we going to visit your mom?" Ali asked

Oh, right. She was in labor. God, I forgot.

"Right. Maybe later."

"Oh,okay. Do you want to talk about something? You seem like you do." She says.

I nodded.

"Uh, ok. Um. What would you do if I told you that I'm going to take my sister out of prison?" I said

"I would slap you senseless." She said

I groaned.

"Aphrodite, are you really serious? Kat is crazy! She might as well be in the same cell as The Joker!" Ali said

I looked at her.

"Ok, not that crazy but she is like 89% there!" Ali corrected

"I wouldn't do it if I had an choice. Ali, my mom demanded it. She wanted Kat to be at the wedding but I wouldn't let her out. I have to let her go see my mom." I said

Ali gave looked at me again.

"What else do you want to talk about?" She asked

I got nervous,"Um. Uhh......I have to figure out what to say before I can explain it."

Ali raised her eyebrow but let go. She went to get ready while I called for an ride. She comes back with a sweater and sweats. "Can we get something to eat?" She asks and I laugh.

"Wasn't Roy just cooking breakfast like five minutes ago?" I asked

"Yeah, but I'm hungry." Ali grinned

"Yeah, ok. Also, we're going shopping." I smiled

"Whyy?" Ali whined

"Baby." I said

Ali face brighten at the word. I smiled at her.

"And my party." I added

Ali just grinned and nodded. We walked outside and got in the car I called for.

"Lunch?" I asked

"Cool." Ali said

I told the driver the first stop was lunch and gave him an address to an amazing resturant.

"I'm glad to see you happy." I said

Ali smiled at me.

"I'm starting an family. I can't believe it." She said

"And I can't wait." I said

"Uh, Roy told me that you have godparents when you are born. So would you be the godmother for the baby? You're already an aunt." Ali asked

"Of course!!" I said

We go to the place and was immediately seated.

Ali waits impatiently for the food.

"Gosh, relax." I laugh. She rolls her eyes then stops for a minute and pouts in thought.

I laugh again. "You act like a child sometime, but what's wrong?" I ask.

"Is Wolverine immortal?" She asks.

"Uh....yeah." I say.

She smiles. "You won't be alone, we'll have the longest friendship." I nod an smile. I forgot about Ali having Wolverine's blood.
