Fansigns always made Rina's day. She loved personally meeting the fans and getting to know them a little. Some fans came to almost every fansigning that they had, and each time they came, she got to know them better, almost becoming a close friend. BTS was having another fan signing event in Seoul, with their fans sitting in front of them and a few making their way down the line to each member.
Since she didn't have a fan in front of her yet, Rina resorted to playing with a squishy blue whale that a fan had given her, trying to copy it every time she squished it and it's eyes popped out.
"Rina-ah! You're too adorable!" one of the fans from the front row yelled.
She blew a small kiss to the fan and put the toy down when a teenage girl approached her.
"Hi!" she said with a smile, signing the girl's photobook and answering the question written on the sticky note.
"Rina unnie, you're so pretty," the girl commented.
"So are you, you're gorgeous," Rina replied with a soft smile on her lips.
"I'm not. I have a lot of acne. A lot of kids at school make fun of me for it," the girl looked down in embarrassment and hurt, her eyes getting watery.
"A butterfly has to be a caterpillar before it turns into a beautiful butterfly. Those kids at school make fun of you because they know you are going to be gorgeous once your acne goes away. Anyway, if they make fun of you just tell them that I said to fuck off. I like you the way you are," she winked at her.
The fan smiled at her, wiping a tear that had escaped her eyes, "Thank you so much Rina."
Rina took the fans hand and squeezed it, reassuring her that she meant what she said, "No problem."
The girl was replaced by a male fan who looked a few years older than her, about Jimin and Taehyung's age.
"Hello," she said, signing his photobook too. There was no sticky note with a question on it, so she just looked up at him.
The male didn't say anything, he just stared at her for a minute.
"You're even more beautiful in person," he finally said.
Rina blushed, "Thank you."
"I have something for you," he pulled up a blue stuffed bear and handed it to her.
"Wow!" she exclaimed, "You didn't have to. Thank you," she gave him a smile, hugging the bear close to her.
A staff member signed for him to move on, "It was nice meeting you. Thank you again for the bear and for coming," she told him as he moved on to V, who was sitting next to her.
