Chapter 14 Biggest fan

I woke to my hand searching a cold empty spot in the bed next to me. I sighed snuggling closer to the comforter for warmth. Kyle has workouts with Lonzo, Josh, and Brandon today to at the Pelican stadium. How they worked that out, I'll never know because Kyle doesn't even play for that team. When I couldn't fall back asleep I sat up looking around the empty hotel room. I got up pushing the comforter off stumbling to my closet grabbing my bag to get ready. Wait, am I going to take the whole 9 mile trip of getting ready when I'm alone in the hotel room and I didn't have to be at my grandparents bar for hours? I tossed my bag back in tying my hair up in a bun. I grabbed my phone looking to see my dad and Hennessy texted me.

Dad- Call me

I sighed going to my contacts pressing my dads number calling him. God only knows what he wants and if he's going to yell at me over yesterdays whole ordeal. I'm not really sad over it, when the pain disappeared of Damarion leaving all I could feel was relief. It was like some of the pressure I had on me to be this perfect little minion was gone.

"Kehlani. Where were you last night and now? None of your sisters have heard from you, Hennessy said she hasn't talked to you in days, and you're not at grandma and grandpa's" He asked me. I looked around Kyle's hotel room biting my lip as I walked out of the bedroom just wearing Kyle's tan long sleeved Puma shirt. The only other article of clothing I had on was my black Fenty savage thong that said naughty on the band.

"I stayed at Kyle's hotel again" I told him my voice not giving away hint of emotion. I went into the kitchen like area the hotel had and on the counter I seen a McDonald's bag with a note.

"After everything that happened you find that appropriate?" He asked me as I grabbed the note reading Kyle's messy handwriting.

You looked beautiful asleep, I couldn't bring myself to wake you. Seriously the no makeup and messy hair look should be come a more common thing around me. Enjoy your breakfast, I'll see you when I get back.

I smiled blushing at the idea of him finding me attractive in that state.

"What happened?" I asked without thinking.

"Damarion catching you cheating on him" He spat harshly at me. Oops, I grabbed my sausage McMuffin, hash brown, and tea going into the living room area.

"Well he didn't really ever catch me I was going there to tell him and breakup with him. It's not conventional but I really do like Kyle and how he makes me feel so yeah" I answered his question. Maybe I shouldn't have stayed the night but I did and once again had the best time of my life like I always do with him.

"We'll talk about this more in person. I want you home tonight" He demanded making me roll my eyes.

"Ok fine" I said annoyed

"Good" He snapped and the line went dead telling me he hung up on me like he always does. I rolled my eyes shaking my head going to Hennessy's text messages.

Hennessy- Ahhh, I see you and that sexy basketball player went public. Goodbye choir boy hello sex symbol. Can I steal you away from him for a little, I miss youuuuuuu

I looked around the room, I'm sure Kyle wouldn't mind if I had Hennessy over just until he got back from his workout.
