Chapter 24 The inevitable

I sped through the city of New Orleans only one person on my mind and that was Kehlani. I had no idea what the fuck happened or what Alexus was talking about on the phone. Kehlani had never mentioned mental health breaks to me. Of course it didn't change the way I felt about her, if she was having a problem I'd be right next to her to fight it. She was the love of my life and I was terrified to see what I was walking into. I finally got to the house, I parked half way on the curve but I didn't give two shits right now. I slammed the car into park jumping out running up to the house just as Alexus opened the front door. She sobbed upon seeing me running to me hugging me.

"Alexus---" She cut me off

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know who else to call, you are the only---" I cut her off easily grabbing her cheeks making her look up at me.

"WHERE IS SHE ALEXUS" I yelled at Kehlani's sister. I didn't mean to yell at her but I was scared too.

"Upstairs. Come on" She cried grabbing my arm pulling me towards the house. The moment we entered I seen her dad. I was slightly taken back by his face, it was sliced up, blood stained, it looked like an actual demon had attacked him but it didn't stop my anger from rising. I easily grabbed Alexus's hips pulling her out of the way, I walked up shoving her dad harshly.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR ISSUE DUDE? THAT'S YOUR FUCKING DAUGHTER. BETTER BELIEVE THE MOMENT I SEE HER AND SEE SHE'S OK I'M BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF YOU AND YOUR LITTLE ASS BOYFRIEND" I yelled shoving my finger into his face and then towards Damarion who I'd handle in just a moment. He just laughed at me trying shove me back but I didn't move and I seen his confidence fall.

"What lies has she fed you? Go ahead and touch either of us, I'll sue your ass for every dime you have" He laughed at me only pushing my anger. I grabbing him by his ugly ass red suit slamming him into the wall with a glare making pictures fall.

"Go ahead sue me. I'll win every time, I have two of your daughters on my side at the moment. You're done fucking up Kehlani's head. You're done making her feel like she's not good enough. When I take her this time, she isn't come back" I snapped throwing him to the ground. I seen Damarion trying to inch his way out but I grabbed him ripping him back punching him in the jaw hard.

"WHAT? YOU CAN HIT MY GIRLFRIEND BUT YOU CAN'T STAND UP TO ME. I ALWAYS KNEW YOU WERE A LITTLE BITCH. WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU EVEN HERE? WHY CAN'T YOU CATCH THE HINT SHE DOESN'T FUCKING WANT YOU DAMARION. SHE WANTS ME. In reality she wanted me from the moment I walked out of that tunnel" I snapped at him as he stood from the floor holding his busted lip.

"I already don't like either one of you. Y'all gonna wish you never fucked with my girlfriend" I growled and looked at Alexus motioning her to lead me to Kehlani's room.

"Get out. You are not welcome inside my house, leave or else I'm calling the police" Their dad snapped at me but I just scuffed following Alexus.

"I don't give two shits, call them. My coach will have me out of jail the moment they put the cuffs on me" I snapped at jogging up the stairs behinds Alexus. Once she hit the top of the stairs she gasped, I easily shoved her to the side to see Kehlani stumbling out of a room. Her clothes were covered in blood, her wrist was wrapped up in a cloth. Her hair was matted with blood laced in it, she touched her forehead pushing back her hair revealing an insanely red and black bruise on her neck.

"Kyle?" Her voice came out more as a question. Her knees wobbled and she grabbed the wall.

"Baby, I'm r---" I got cut off as she began to fall but I was quick to catch her dropping to my knees. Once again she was out of it. I felt her pulse, it was steady and strong. I moved her hair looking at the nasty mark on her neck.
