Chapter 4 Day with Kuz

KEHLANI

"AUNTIE KEKE WAKE UP" I heard Chia yell as my bed bounced up and down. I groaned covering my face with my blanket. Well my sister is here, he wasn't lying when he said I'd have babysitters was he?

"CHIA STOP" I yelled at her and she jumped into a sitting position on my bed uncovering my face.

"Will you play Frozen with me? You sing let it go perfect" She asked me. I opened my eyes looking at the 6 year old girl on my bed. She was mixed, her skin tone was a perfect mixture of my sisters and her husband Marcus's. Her long black curls were pulled back into a ponytail, she wore a bright orange dress that had the wide tank top straps. She had it paired with white Adidas and a matching orange purse. Chia was good with fashion at her young age, she so easily dressed everyone in the cutest stuff. She was going to go far in life when she got older.

"Mommy said you got drunk" She told me making me laugh.

"No Chia I didn't. Granpapy is just being mean, go on downstairs and I'll see you down there ok?" I asked her and she nodded getting up leaving. I shook my head grabbing my phone to see I had a ton of miss calls and text messages from Damarion. I scrolled through his texts which was pretty much asking if I got home safe, how I got home, how sorry he was, and he wanted to talk to me about everything today but I didn't even bother to text him back. I was wrong I shouldn't have kissed Kyle but he shouldn't have left me with no ride. Maybe even going with Kyle to the film room was crossing a line but he blew every bad thing I did out of the water. While I was crossing that line I might as well make it worth it. I grabbed my pants fishing out Kyle's number typing it into my phone.

Me- Hey, it's Kehlani

I bit my lip nervously looking at the text message. What if he didn't text me back? What if he was over it after last night? Was I making myself look stupid and desperate? I seen the little bubbles pop up and then they were replaced with a text.

Unknown- Hey beautiful, I was wondering if you were gonna bang my line or if I just had to pop up at yo crib

I smiled laughing shaking my head. I put his name in my phone as 'Kuuumza🏀'. I read his message biting my lip trying not to over think my reply.

Me- I just woke up. I swear I never sleep this late

Kuuuzma🏀- Well get up and get ready I'm trying to see yo fine ass. Anything you want to do?

I tapped my chin thinking about what I wanted to do but I didn't know just yet.

Me- Idk we'll figure that out later. Where do you want to meet?

Kuuuzma🏀- Well mamas I don't have a rental yet. Slide through to the hotel

Me- Ok where you at?

I smiled getting up going over to my closet looking for something to wear. I grabbed dark brown tight fitted cropped t-shirt, light high waist skinny jeans that had tears in them and then underclothes. I went down to the bathroom getting in the shower doing what I needed to do and got out. I dried off tying my hair in into my towel and then got dressed, I went down to my room to see Chia in there trying on a pair of my heels.

"You look great Chia" I smirked at her grabbing my hair and makeup.

"Is Uncle D coming over?" She asked me curiously

"No, Uncle D isn't coming over" I told her sitting on the floor. I turned on the blow drier before she could ask anymore more questions and blow dried my hair. I put beach waves in the long orange locks and then did my usual makeup. Once I was finished I threw on my black vans and cleaned up.
