I woke up feeling a lot better than yesterday. Right away I noticed my body didn't ache, my neck wasn't shooting up pain. My wrist still stung but I assume Kyle changed my bandage in my sleep. I sat up to see the light didn't bother my eyes anymore but I was alone in the bedroom. My stomach growled loud enough to be heard next door I'm sure, I felt like I was starving and dying of thirst. I pushed the covers off to see I was still in my sports bra and leggings. I didn't have the energy to change so I went into the bathroom brushing my hair putting it into a messy bun, I brushed my teeth, and added more deodorant. I walked out grabbing my phone to see my dad, Damarion, and Alexus had blown up my phone but I didn't bother to call or text anyone back. I slipped out of the bedroom and wondered around the top floor of the house finding the stairs. I slowly walked down them nervous my legs may not be as strong as they feel. I heard a baby scream and laughs coming from down a hall. I followed the noise coming into a living room to see Kyle holding a baby, Lonzo sitting in a bean bag, and a super pretty girl smiling at Kyle. The babies eyes landed on me and she screamed out reaching for me pulling everyone's attention towards me.
"Babe, you're awake" Kyle said standing up coming over to me smiling.
"Yeah. I'm hungry" I complained touching my stomach as it ripped out another growl. The baby laughed loud reaching for me. I smiled grabbing her little hand easily.
"Hi. I'm Kehlani" I smiled at her
"This is Zoey. Lonzo's daughter, I think she wants you to hold her" Kyle said going to hand her to me but I took a step back shaking my head no.
"No, I don't know how strong my body is yet. I don't want to drop her" I blushed, I wanted to hold the little girl but what if I wasn't as strong as I thought yet and the tranquilizers made me drop her?
"Come sit down" Kyle said motioning to the couch. I followed him smiling at the very pretty girl waving to her. I sat down and Kyle handed me the baby, right away she grabbed my orange messy hair making me laugh.
"You should have seen it when it was blue or green" I smiled at the baby in my arms.
"Denise this is my girlfriend Kehlani. Lani this is Lonzo's...well I don't know what she is but her name is Denise" Kyle told me. I laughed nodding at how awkward he just made it between his best friend and his baby momma.
"Hi Denise. Your daughter is so cute" I smiled shaking her hand as Zoey pulled on my sports bra. I laughed pulling her little hand away from the strap as my stomach growled again.
"Kyle I'm starving" I complained looking up at him.
"Probably you went a whole 24 hours pretty much asleep. Do you want to get dressed and go out and get breakfast?" He asked me. I groaned picking up Zoey letting her stand on my thighs bouncing her up and down.
"I don't want to change" I said stubbornly making Lonzo chuckle.
"Well Princess Peach nice to see you're feeling better. I thought you were dying" Lonzo snickered, I wanted to come off with a smart remark but I was thankful he let me stay here.
"Thank you for letting me stay here Zo" I smiled but he just waved me off.
"You're big bros girl. Of course" He said making me smile and look at the baby.
"Well you don't take your looks after your daddy huh? You better thank the lord for that" I joked with the baby making the room laugh.
"I was terrified she'd have Lonzo's ears" Denise told me making laugh along with her.
"Let me go change and we'll go to Ihop or something" Kyle told me leaning down kissing my cheek making me smile.
"How are you feeling?" Lonzo asked me curiously
