Unbreakable Bond- Star Wars Jedi: fallen order

Chapter 2

     Aurora had easily been able to keep herself busy while they waited for Cal and when she had nothing left to do she sat outside thinking of more things to do. She didn't like the idea of sitting around waiting for things to happen. It's part of the job though and she clearly wasn't used to it still.

Eventually Cere stood next to Aurora, which made Aurora felt like she should stand instead of sit. Cere had this odd aura around her, she provides reassurance and comfort but at the same time has this strong, powerful presence. Aurora never clashed with Cere and never put herself in a position to bicker with her like Greez.

Aurora was about to question Cere but instead Cere pointed off in the distance. "Look." She said causing Aurora to look in that direction. She could see Cal heading towards them. He walked to the hatch and when he was close enough Cere broke the silence.

"You passed the test." She stated, Aurora was able to notice a little droid that was on Cal's back. She smiled softly as it kept peeking over his shoulder to look at them.

"So you knew about BD-1?" Cal questioned her as he glanced back to look at the droid but then looked back at the two waiting at the opening of the ship's hatch. "Come on board, we'll talk inside." Cere said to him and turned to walk inside the Mantis, leaving Aurora to stand alone.

Cal had walked up the walkway and now stood next to Aurora, who was mesmerized by the land. She didn't want to leave, it was so peaceful and she felt like she probably wasn't going to have that for awhile. Cal had placed a hand on her shoulder which made Aurora look at him.

Cal could see it in her eyes, she never wanted to leave. However they did need to go inside to hear the next part of the plan. Aurora looked back one more time and sighed. She could hear BD-1 making noise. Aurora could only understand about half of what he was saying. She had turned around to face the ship.

"What did he say?" She asked Cal as they walked the rest of the way up to the Mantis. "He wanted to know your name." Cal answered her. "Oh, well it's Aurora but Cere and Greez just call me Ara." She stated immediately hearing some beeps but their conversation was cut short.

BD jumped off of Cal and made his way over to the sofa. "Oh BD-1 this is Greez. Hey Greez." Cal informed the droid.

"What is that?" Greez asked, slightly panicked. The little droid beeped in response. "Get off my sofa! Get..Get off my sofa! Go! Get outta there, get out!" Greez shouted and lunged forward towards the droid, chasing it off the seats. Aurora giggled a little as she watched the droid and Greez interact. The droid ran away and jumped up on Aurora and stayed on her back, hiding from Greez.

     "That's BD-1. He's with us." Cal said and smiled as the droid stayed hidden behind Aurora. "I don't care who he is with. Do you have any idea how hard it is to get oil stains out of potolli-weave fabric?" Greez questioned Cal. Aurora giggled again at Greez and she heard the quiet beeps coming from BD.

"Not really." Cal answered Greez and turned away. "Oh. I hope you found something better out there than this droid." Greez stated.

     BD climbed to Aurora's shoulder and made more beeps, Aurora glanced up at him. She was able to make out what a few beeps meant and assumed what the droid was asking. "No, we won't let him get rid of you. I like you too much already." Aurora spoke softly to BD.

"Oh calm down Greez. He did." Cere said to Greez as Cal stood next to her. She turned to Cal as he moved to sit down. "Tell us Cal." Cere spoke directly to Cal, waiting for what he was going to say.

BD-1 has jumped off of Aurora and made it's way to stand next to where Cal was sitting. "The vault was built by an ancient civilization called the Zeffo. A Jedi named Eno Cordova hid something inside of it." Cal informed them. Cere took a couple steps forward and Aurora had moved to sit on the sofa next to the steps Cal was sitting on.
