2 months had passed and I missed Laine even more each an everyday I cry every night it's and whenever our anniversary comes up I spend all night at the lake carving in the number of months we miss I carved in number two a couple of night ago. I miss her like crazy and so does Dally none of us can handle her being gone. She doesn't have a phone so she can't call us and she gets so busy the letters have stopped coming.

I was walking with Pony to meet up with Dall he just got out of the cooler. Since Laine has been gone he has been doing even more bad stuff and getting in tons of trouble with the fuzz. It also seemed like the Soc.'s were out even more Pony got jumped this morning for he first time. He wanted to go out to the movies Sylvia was two timing him again and he wanted to get out.
"Hey dall"
Pony said as we approached him.
"What's up dall?"
I said so light I swear he didn't hear me. I had become way more shy now in a total shell. We made our way to the movies I don't know what Pony's problem was but he treated me like a kid now that I was shy. The hole in the fence he helped me through and I used to do that to him. Dally saw some Soc.'s sitting up front they were alone and very good looking. He sat up behind the one red head and as usual started flirting. He turned to me and Pony.
"Some real pretty red head huh?"
He said. He leaned up to her.
"How can I find out if this is your real red hair"
He said. She pushed him away. He leaned back to me and Pony setting his feet up on her chair.
"Get your feet of my chair and shut your trap greaser"
She snapped. He laughed.
"Feisty huh are you thirsty?"
He asked.
"Get away from me"
She said pushing him off of her again. Dally got up and walked away. Once he came back he sat up front next to the red head.
"Here I thought this might cool you off"
He said handing her and her friend a coke. The red head threw the coke in his face.
"Here maybe this'll cool you off greaser before you go and talk nasty to me"
She snapped. He tried to put his arms around her but she kept pushing him off.
"Get off me"
She yelled.
"Dall leave her alone"
I said. He stopped and looked at me.
"What you say.........what you say you little shit what you say to me?"
He snapped. I lowered my voice.
"Leave her alone dall"
I said. He stood up and kicked his chair and stomped off. The girl turned around and faced Pony.
"You won't start in on us now will ya?"
She asked angry. I hid my face from the girl. Pony shook his head.
"No"
"You don't look the type anyway, what's your name?"
She asked. I saw Pony's face he hated telling people his name.
"Ponyboy, Ponyboy Curtis"
He said proud.
"Well that's a very original name my name is Sheri but everyone calls me cherry why don't y'all sit up here with us and protect us?"
She said. Pony looked at me and I wanted to act strong and move on so I shrugged my shoulders in agreement. The second I did though I regretted it and felt as if I hurt Laine. I went up and sat down next to the the girl cherry called Marcia. The whole rest of the movie was boring and scary Two Bit came up and scared the crap out of me and as we were trying to walk the girls home it was the first time I ever saw that blue mustang since the jumped me. I hid myself in my jean jacket when I saw the boy with the rings. After me and Pony fell asleep in the lot I sent him home. I fell back asleep until Pony came back and said he wanted to run away. I agreed i want to run away from Soc.'s and me and Laine's memories. When we reached the park we realized we had been followed they made Pony mad and in the end they were trying to drown him in the fountain he passed out cold and I did some things I never want to remember. Once Pony woke up I was still shaking holding the bloody switch in my hand as I saw the boy with the rings dead in front of me. I turned to Pony.
"I- I killed him I killed that boy"
I said. Pony started crying.
"I think I'm going to be sick"
He said. I nodded.
"It's okay I won't look"
I said as he had already got up and started walking away. We went to Bucks to look for Dally and before I knew it we were on a train to Windrixville.

I was scared and upset and know I had to live with one more thing in my life.
