My life has really become unpredictable. Until yesterday I was dying to study so that I could bring dad's company to heights again and today I am here in Space as a student of business management and even Mrs. Murthy didn't stop me for she knew the company needed to progress in order to bring progress to her. Any which ways, I can at least study now.

I entered the college premises and automatically a genuine smile settled on my lips. This where my dream will begin to form shape and I'll do everything in my power to make it a reality.

New place, new hope, new beginnings.

"Excuse me, do you know where's the admin office?" I asked a very weird looking guy who was too involved in playing some video game on his phone.

"Excuse me?" I tried asking again but in turn he bursted off on me.

"Kya hai? Tumhare vajah se main game haar gaya. Thodi der baad nahi aa sakti thi kya?" The guy yelled at me while the others around him, certainly his friends found it amusing that they started laughing.

I didn't reply to him and simply walked away since I didn't want to create any scene on the first day itself.

I walked a little ahead where I saw a girl standing, talking to some poster.

Okay...that's wierd.

"Um excuse me?"

"Kya hai?" Rude much.

"Voh do you know where the admin office is?" She seemed irritated at my question but answered nevertheless.

"Take a right from here and walk straight, you'll find it at the end of the corridor"

"Thanks" I smiled sweetly but she reciprocated a frown.

I followed the directions she gave me but the admin's office was nowhere to be seen, rather I found myself standing right outside the boy's washroom. I realised she knowingly gave me the wrong directions that made me curse her endlessly.

Just because I was being sweet doesn't mean that I can't get back at you. Anyways, I was about to walk away when a deep voice stopped me in my tracks.

"Are you looking for something" I turned around and found a guy wearing a hoodie and a cap. He looked really sweet but shy.

Hopefully he tells me the correct directions.

"Yeah voh I was looking for the admin office but I somehow landed here" I shrugged sheepishly while he smiled. His smile was really small, difficult to make out but I managed to see it.

"Come, I'll take you there" I smiled at him as we began walking in silence. Five minutes later, we reached and I thanked him after which he left immediately, nodding his head in a gesture to acknowledge my thank you.

I completed my admission formalities and searched for my class which I found after a lot of hard work but it all went in vain when it was announced that the lecture was cancelled.

Stupid Proffessor.

I was feeling hungry now so I decided to go to the canteen and have something. After asking about a dozen people I finally located the canteen. The canteen was huge and spacious and the ambience was quite likable.

I walked to the counter to order myself a sandwich when I again found the cap and hoodie guy who helped me before.

"Hey" I smiled merrily at him who in return gave me a little smile.

"Voh actually I am new and I don't know anyone here isliye socha ki I should talk to you afterall you helped me and you also look like a nice guy. By the way I forgot to ask you your name. Tumhara naam kya hai?" I chirped happily in a go as he looked at me in amusement.

"I am Dhruv" he replied softly.

"I am Nandini...Nandini Murthy" I forwarded my hand for a handshake but before we could shake hands, a voice interrupted us that sounded familiar for some reason.

"Buddy tujhe itna time kyu lag raha hai? Any problem?" As soon as he finished, I turned around with my eyes wide like saucers for I recognised his voice.

When Dhruv didn't say anything, Manik (as far as I remember, that's his name) frowned and was about to speak more when his eyes fell upon me.

"Tum! Tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?" He sounded a bit angry and I think I know why but usme meri koi galti nahi thi, he stepped in himself that day, I didn't ask him to do so.

"Kyu I can't be here?" I snapped back which pissed him more.

"If you don't know then this place is for reputed people and people like you don't belong here" he taunted me and that truly hurt but I didn't show it on my face.

"Listen I know what you are trying to do but let me tell you it won't work" I hissed angrily while Dhruv stood there confused all this while.

"Buddy you know her?" He asked Manik, confused.

"She's no one buddy and you don't need to know her, trust me" he told him looking at me and I rolled my eyes at him but he continued looking at me as if challenging me and left with Dhruv while I cursed my fate.

Out of all the people why do I always bump into him?

Aiyyappa why are you doing this to me?

I ate my sandwich peacefully and headed to class. The class went by smoothly with no troubles and I also chatted with two-three girls but did not make a friend yet. Apart from that, the teachers are good here and I really understood what they were teaching during the lecture. Overall, my day wasn't bad except for meeting that Monster Manik again.

Aiyyappa I don't like him at all.

I was ranting my complaints to Aiyyappa while walking in the empty corridor since the lectures were over and there were very less students around when I saw that jerk Harshad walking towards me.

Aiyyappa why does everyone study in this college only?

I cribbed again but I knew it wasn't of any use.

"Nandini Murthy welcome to Space" Harshad said loudly once he reached near me and I internally groaned.

"Thanks but next time you welcome me, make it grand yaar. I thought space students did everything grandly but your welcome was anything but grand" I faked a disappointed face to taunt him and as expected he was annoyed.

"By the way I am running late so see you later Harahad" I bid him bye with my mock filled smile and left without waiting for his reply. Trust me, his face was worth watching when I did that to him.
