Simon's pov

After y/n had stormed upstairs I briefed the boys a little 'basically y/n jas 3 stages. Number 1 : anger, in a minute you will probably here her break something, just leave it. Number 2 songs, we'll here around 4 songs and then 3. you have the binge eating and crying. After that you may go check on her. Checking on y/n in the mid-' I got cut off by a frustrated scream and the smashing of something. 'And now we must wait 30 minutes' I beamed at harry who didnt look so happy he was frowning at me.

Y/ns pov

I grabbed the closest thing to me and threw it at the wall. I was having such mixed feelings, I was angry at him for lying, confused for why he didn't show and heart broken. 5 years he hadn't contacted me and when he did I got my hopes up and he let them down. Normally I would listen to music, eat and cry and I'd be fine but I felt like it was different this time. I needed to go for a walk alone. It was dark outside now which would be perfect. I could go to the park, be alone and cry or just sit. I quickly headed down stairs, Harry's jumper on and some jeans meaning my phone was in my back pocket. I grabbed my keys and was walking out the driveway when someone grabbed my hand.

'I know you dont want me to come with you but look at me' harry cupped my face in his hands. 'When you get back I'm here. I love you' he stammered.  I didnt kiss him I just hugged him. 'I love you too Haz'. I took in his smell to calm me slightly. He kissed the top of my head and I walked off. As i walked off I could feel his eyes burning into the back of my head.

I had been sat alone on this swing for 2 hours. The boys had text me multiple times checking I was okay I just replied with fine each time. I didnt really want to go back but I knew I had too. 'Hi are you okay?' A little boy appeared on the swing next to me, I wiped my tears 'hey, I'm fine' he held my hand across the swing. 'No you're not, tears mean sad, what happened?' I smiled at him 'I'll tell you if you tell me what you're doing out' he bowed his head 'I ran away, daddy keeps telling me to wash my plate I dont want too' I felt a single tear that was falling down my cheek. 'Don't run away from your dad, hes only trying to help. Trust me you'll appreciate your dad one day' he let go of my hand and crossed his arm. There was a minute silence when his face softened and he uncrossed his arms. 'What's wrong then' I laughed a quiet laugh at the irony. 'Well my dad was meant to meet me today because we hadn't seen each other in a long time but he didn't show up.' The little boy just looked up at me. 'Oh, that's why you want me to appreciate my daddy' I nodded and tried to smile. I watched as he hopped of the swing. 'I'm going to go home and wash the dishes' I nodded to him and crouched infront of him 'good idea' he gave me a cute little hug and waddled off home. I did the same.

I walked into the house and sat down at the table, laying down my keys and I slid my head into my hands. The guys were in the lounge playing some sort of video game as I could hear there cheers and boos. 'Y/n' Ethan laid his hand on my back 'I know it sucks, i understand, you're dad not being there' I smiled at him a genuine smile he gave me a hug 'it'll get better promise' I pulled away 'thank you Ethan I needed that'. For the rest of the night we just chilled, played games and ate pizza. My mind couldnt help but wander about the little boy though.
