Lee: Hey, thanks for protecting me today. You're a good friend :)

Holy shit.

He texted me. He actually sent me a text and called me a friend- a good friend.

I shouldn't feel the way I do about a simple text message, but I can't help it. My stomach feels all knotted and my cheeks are hot, undoubtedly covered by a blush.

I've been staring at the same message for over twenty minutes now, I'm just completely shocked that he texted me.

Fuck. I sound like such an obsessive loser.

A small knock came from the wooden door of my bedroom, instinctively causing my head to look towards the sound. The door in front of me is so plain, yet holds so much potential to be beautiful. The wood used is absolutely gorgeous, but the scratches and marks left on it from the previous owners fill me with sadness.

"Come in!" I yell with a small frown placed on my face.

The door quickly opens and the furious face of a teenage girl fills my vision. Her long brown hair was put into some sort of messy braid, and her face held no makeup. My sister truly is a gorgeous girl, which means whoever tries to come and steal her away from me, will get their ass kicked.

"Ew, look who it is!" I yelled as I grabbed a pillow and covered my face with it. Amor grunted and I couldn't help but let out a small laugh, "What do you want, kiddo?"

Her face turned a deeper shade of red than it was before, anyone could tell this girl is fuming. In all honesty, Amor can be very scary when she's upset, and this is one of those times.

Slowly, she creeps towards me, her eyes narrowing and focusing on mine.

"I want you to stop squealing like a six-year-old who just found out she gets to go to Disney World. Shut the hell up so I can study, not all of us are suspended and can take time off." Her voice was low and intimidating, I couldn't help but let out the stupidest laugh.

Amor let out a grunt and quickly stormed out of my room, slamming the beautiful wooden door, adding another wound.

I let out a sigh as I grabbed my phone once more and stared at the text, pondering on what I should reply. It's an important decision.

I quickly began typing a quick 'you're welcome" before my phone buzzed, stopping me from clicking the send button.

Lee: My father would like to thank you by taking you out to dinner, what's your favorite restaurant?

My fingers typed quickly to reply, deleting my old message.

Jackson: Don't worry about dinner, take me out for ice cream and we'll call it even ;)

Holy fucking donkey balls. I, Jackson Dyer, is going to get ice cream with the Liam Winters, the cutest boy in literally the entire world. I couldn't help the huge-ass smile that crept up on my face as I held back a loud squeal

I looked at my phone as it quickly buzzed on my desk,

Lee: My dad said we can meet at Paradise Ice Cream around 5 if that's okay?

My smile widened as I quickly ran to my closet like a teenage girl to hurry and get ready.

I walked into the small ice cream shop and immediately locked eyes with Lee. It didn't take long before I noticed the small girl who stood beside him, holding his hand. Lucky girl.

The girl had big blue eyes with a slightly gray overtone. Her skin was just as pale as Liams, who was holding her hand tightly. Her thin lips were just as pink as his as well. She looked a lot like Lee, besides her long hair which was a light brown, not black. She wore blue jeans with tan boots that meshed perfectly. Her small body held a large white shirt that was slightly covered by a tan jacket. She looked adorable.
