Jacksons POV:

"Ugh, Jackie" Seth groaned for the eighth time in a row. I rolled my eyes and sat up from my overly comfortable position on my bed. My eyes darted to the boy with the dorkiest smile sitting cross-legged on my bedroom floor.

"What?" I softly grunted, causing Seth to light up with a devious smile.

"Oh baby, oh baby. Jackie, don't make those sounds, you're gonna make me act up baby girl." He let out a small laugh before playfully biting his bottom lip causing me to gag.

"I think that may have been the most embarrassing thing you've ever done. Now what do you want dumbass." I rolled my eyes before flipping him off for being an annoying mother fucker. I love my best friend more than anything in the world, but sometimes he gets on my nerves and I need a break from the kid. He's a lot to handle, but I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world.

"Go make me food, right now." Seth demanded.

"No." I stated firmly, but Seth came back with a "yes" that perfectly matched my dominant tone. Well shit, what a bastard. This kid would do anything for food...well other than go make it himself.

I swiftly climbed off my bed and walked towards where Seth sat on the floor. Our eyes locked and I could tell he wasn't going down without a fight. Time to give it all that I got.

I slowly leaned down next to Seth's ear and paused so he could feel my hot breath against his skin. We stood frozen for a minute, just to make the tension slightly grow. After a few moments of silence I finally decided to respond.

"No." I whispered sternly.

I stood in the same position for a minute waiting for a rebuttal, but when none ever came a smile grew on my face as I playfully ruffled his hair and walked back to my bed, "Go make your own food you man child."

"I- I'm not hungry anymore." He stated quietly, causing my eyebrows to furrow. I decided to ignore it and jump back on my bed.

"Seth come lay with me, I want a bro talk we haven't had one in awhile." I stated as I stared up at my ceiling and patted the spot next to me on my bed. I heard shuffling in the room and a few moments later the bed dipped and I knew he was next to me.

I put my hands behind my head before slightly turning to look at my best friend. Seth is a good looking guy, he acts like a complete doofus sure, but he's not a bad guy. It boggles my mind how he's never had a real relationship. Hell, he hasn't even had his first kiss yet...has he?

I completely shifted my body so I could lay on my side, my elbow resting against the bed to allow my hand to support my head.

"Have you ever kissed anyone before?" I asked simply. Seth's face filled with a blush which he quickly hid by looking in the opposite direction. A few moments later he looked back at me and smiled his famous goofy grin.

"Of course bro bro."

Yeah, that's a lie. I tried to hold back my laugh for his sake, but I couldn't help myself and a small chuckle escaped my lips.

Okay a big chuckle.

However, before he could get anymore embarrassed Seth quickly changed the subject. "So, how are you and bobby?" He asked, his voice completely monotone.

Seth doesn't like bobby, I don't know what he has against her but he's stated multiple times that he's not a fan. But Seth doesn't get to decide who I date, I decide, so he can dislike her all he wants but she's still going to be my girlfriend.

"Things are good." I stated simply, not wanting to talk about her right now.

The room fell dead silent. Not the usual silence that fills the air around me and Seth, that silence is usually comfortable. This silence was different, it was awkward.

"You know, Bobby looks a lot like Liam. You're like basically dating a girl version of Liam." He stated blankly, breaking the awkward silence that surrounded us.

"I'm not dating her for her looks, I'm dating her for her personality." My voice falling monotone, afraid to show any emotions that would give my true feelings away. "Plus, I'm completely over Liam."

Damn. I don't know why, but it hurts so much to say out loud that I'm over someone who I am not actually over. I guess I just don't like the feeling of lying. Or maybe I know deep down that things between Lee and I would never work out, so sooner or later the 'lie' that I speak will eventually have to come true.

Seth let out a small laugh before sitting up in the bed, looking down at me locking our eyes, "Oh yeah? What's one thing that Bobby likes?"

My face went pale as an answer didn't instantly come to my mind. "Uhm, she likes making out with me." I mentally face palmed as I knew that, that was a terrible answer.

"Okay, what's one thing that Liam likes?" He asked, his tone dead serious, no hint of playfulness present.

Nonetheless, a smile grew across my face as I remember all the time that Lee and I spent during our tutoring sessions talking and getting to know each other rather than actually tutoring. Of course he would always get frustrated after we got side tracked for long periods of time, but that was the best part. Whenever he got upset or angry at himself he would scrunch up his nose and scold himself under his breath, and that's when I would begin to play footsies with him under the table in order to get him distracted again. He was adorable.

"Lee likes making other people happy, even if it risks his own happiness." I stated softly under my breath, finally deciding on just one answer.

The room once again fell silent, but god knows I wasn't going through that awkward silence we encountered earlier again. "Lets not talk about this Seth, I'm over Liam and I'm with Bobby now."

The boy gave a devious grin before hopping off my bed, patting his now wrinkled clothes straight, "Alright then Dyer, if that's the case, I guess you wont be so mad at me for what I did then."

My eyes locked on to his as I gave him a death stare, what the fuck was this boy up to now.

"What did you do?"

Seth awkwardly laughed as he scratched the back of his head. He began slowly backing out my room, but my eyes never left him, I swear I will kill that boy.

"Well Jackie...haa- you see you cant be mad-" Another awkward laugh escaping his lips.

"I wont get mad." I said in a low monotone voice, trying to conceal my anger.

Yeah, thats a lie I'm probably going to get mad.

Seth finally reached the door frame and stopped in his tracks. His face softened and a pleading look soon replaced his guilty one. "I may have invited Liam over to tutor you again today at 4. I'm paying for it. He needs the money and you need the help. Please do this Jackson please, you both need this. Please?" His voice was soft and sweet, and his pleads were tempting, but I wasn't about to fall for that bullshit.

What. The. Fuck. Is. Wrong. With. Him.

"Seth, you mother fucker Ill fucking-"

But before I could finish my sentence he was already gone out the door and I could hear his heavy footsteps running down the stairs. I sighed as I flopped back down on my bed.

Well, here fucking goes nothing.
