You stood quietly in the corner as Avdol beat the shit out of Mr. Joestar's grandson in an attempt to get him out of the cell. Jotaro Kujo... a fine looking young man, but quite prickly. You began to wonder what had happened in his life to make him so closed off. You decided it would be best to keep your distance.

You remained silent for a good amount of the day, as Holly was able to act as a translator for Mr. Joestar. Jotaro's English was shit, and Mr. Joestar hated the Japanese and everything that had to do with them so he flat out refused to learn any of their language.

Holly recommended a small café, where you could all sit down and talk a little bit more about what was to come. Holly continued translating, so you were able to sip your drink in peace.

"Hey, old man, who is this girl? She's just been sitting there..." Jotaro said (in Japanese of course), nodding his head towards you but never looking directly at you.

You didn't wait for Holly to translate to Mr. Joestar. "I work as a translation specialist for the Speedwagon foundation. Mr. Joestar thought my stand would help as well."

Jotaro seemed a little surprised you were so fluent in Japanese. "Hmph."

Mr. Joestar and Holly shared a look.

You went back to your drink.

Nothing of what Mr. Joestar had said was news to you, you already knew of the hunt for DIO. What shocked you the fact that Jotaro seemed to have zero interest in joining. He didn't have much of a choice though, you knew fate would draw him towards his destiny.

Holly insisted that the three of you stay with her in the house. Jotaro seemed irritated to say the least, but he kept his mouth shut. You were shocked by the sheer size of the property, but considering the Joestar fortune you were able to justify it.

However, what you couldn't justify is why Holly put you in a room next to Jotaro's...

"Yare yare daze..." Was the only thing Jotaro had to say about it.

"Jotaro! Will you help the young lady get her futon please?" Holly asked with that joyful voice and sweet smile. How someone could consistently be so kind to her son that constantly called her an annoying bitch, you had no idea. It made you wonder what she had been through.

"Shut up bitch." He responded, but went to do it anyway.

You followed, in case he needed help and secretly, he intrigued you. Was that strange? You always found it interesting, how different people react to difficult situations.

"Why are you following me?" Jotaro asked with a deadpan expression.

"Huh? Oh I just thought you might need some help.."

"I don't."

"Well alright then." You turned around, but then realized you had no idea where to go. You had been so lost in your own thoughts that you didn't pay attention to where you followed him. "Um..."

"What is it now?" He didn't even turn around.

"How do I get back to my room...?" You asked sheepishly.

"Yare yare..." he said. "Just come with me. I'll show you on the way back."

You could tell that he was a person that liked to be alone. You could also tell that he got pissed off easily, so you decided to just find your way back by yourself.

"That's okay.. I'll figure it out. I can tell you would rather not have company right now.." you laughed awkwardly. "Thanks though!" You headed in the opposite direction.

Jotaro was surprised. Most girls look for any and every excuse to follow him around trying to get his attention, but none of them could get out of their own heads long enough to realize that he just wanted some alone time. It was as if he was an open book to you, and for some reason that gave him a sense of peace.

Maybe you could be friends.

You followed the feeling of the water rushing through the pipes underground, just another perk of your stand was that you could 'feel' the energy of nearby sources of water.

You began mumbling to yourself in your native language. "Let's see... water probably flows to the kitchen or to a bathroom... more water would need to go to the bathroom so the kitche-"

You were cut off by the sound of grunting. It sounded like... Jotaro? Oh man no way he's whacking it right now in a closet. Are all teenage boys that horny??

You peeked into the dark closet, praying to the Heavenly Father that you wouldn't see anything you didn't want to see.

Fortunately for you, it was just Jotaro trying to carry the stuff back to your room.

You let out a sigh of relief, walking over to help him.

"Here," You picked a large blanket up off the floor. "I got this stuff, you go ahead."

Jotaro was struck once again by your ability to read people. He appreciated the fact that he didn't have to communicate verbally with you.

You didn't know how to set up a futon, so you just stood there watching Jotaro do it.

"Um..." you started as he walked out the door.

He turned around, eyebrows raised as if to say, 'go ahead'

"Thank you, Jotaro-san." You smiled. "I appreciate your help!"

"Hm." He responded as a way of saying thank you, and turned away.

You couldn't see, but he had a small smile on his face.

She's not all that bad... He thought to himself.
