Fingers digging into your wrist.
A burning iron pressed to your cheek.
The air.
A blade drives itself between your shoulder blades.
The Hermit, gone.
The Magician, gone.
The Hierophant, gone.
The Star, gone.
The Fool, gone.
The Chariot, gone.
You aren't enough.
The World, prevails.
Seven took the midnight train, but none were left to take the last train home.
You woke with a gasp, sitting straight up in bed.
"Whoa. Jeez it's okay." Jotaro was kneeling next to your futon, but jumped back at your sudden movement. It was clear he had been trying to wake you. "Are you ready to go? The car's here."
"Uh, yeah. Sorry I just," You put a hand to your forehead. "I had a really weird dream."
"What happened in it?" He asked, standing.
You were a little surprised that he asked. "I-I don't remember."
"Hm." He left.
You got out of bed and got dressed. A quick stop in the kitchen to fill up a pouch of water that you fastened around your waist. You kept it with you when going into potentially dangerous situations, and since Mr. Joestar had taken numerous pictures of DIO with his Hermit Purple, you knew you all were likely already in danger.
You met the rest of the group at the car.
"We all ready to go?" Mr. Joestar asked.
You asked the same question to Kakyoin and Jotaro, but in Japanese.
"Let's get going." Kakyoin said, rather enthusiastically.
You nodded to Mr. Joestar and the group of you piled into the car and went on your way.
In a short half an hour, everyone had loaded onto the plane.
The seating was as such, Avdol and Mr. Joestar sat in the row in front of you, while you sat in the dreaded middle seat between Kakyoin and Jotaro.
"Okay you two," You started in Japanese as the plane engines began to roar. "I'm gonna teach you some basic English, just in case."
"In case like what?" Jotaro said gruffly. He wasn't too pleased, he had intended on sleeping.
"Well, like what if I get separated from you? What if you're stuck in a dire situation with Mr. Joestar and the two of you can't communicate?"
"Can't he just learn Japanese?"
"He... Is very particular about that kind of thing. Now," You pulled out some notecards. "This word, help."
"h-hellp." Kakyoin sounded out with a thick accent.
"Yes good!! It means 'tasukete' and this word-"
"Run." Jotaro said from under his hat, with almost perfect pronunciation.
"Yeah! That's perfect!" You were slightly surprised, but then you remembered it WAS his mother's first language.
Jotaro blushed slightly at your compliment.
