Shannon stormed into Katy's room and basically forced her out of bed. Irritated, she does as she's told and takes a seat on the couch.

"Katy, what the hell? Christine is trying to tell you something," Shannon tries real hard not to get angrier.

"I know, and there's no truth behind him. He's really sweet."

"You think that," I bring myself into the conversation.

"And I know that," she huffed, and sounded agitated.

She gets up from her seat on the couch and goes into the kitchen.

"Seriously, it's something you need to know, Katy. Why are you being like this?," Shannon shakes her head.

"You're right. Okay Christine, what is it you're dying to tell me?"

"Derek isn't nice Katy. I heard what he said about you. He said terrible things. He's going to abuse you, soon."

"You're making this up, so stop."

"Am I? Then explain this picture I found."

Katy takes the picture and stands up, "This doesn't mean anything: I'm hated on everyday, so it's a fan of a different artist wanting me to die. I'm used to it."

"No, Katy. Dammit. You don't get it." Shannon sits down as tears fall down her face.

"Shanny, what's wrong?"

"Forget it Katy," I roll my eyes and give her a disgusted look.

She sits back down on the couch and checks her phone not showing much concern. Shannon was still upset; her eyes were glassy and she was warm. She wanted to speak with Katy, but it just wasn't going to happen with her. Looking down at the floor, I help her with exiting our hotel room, not saying anything to Katy.

I knew something was changing about Katy. It was clearly showing her attitude towards her best friend. Derek I knew was changing her. I felt he was trying to encourage her to do something bad.

Shannon had asked to be left alone, so I left her to be alone. Walking alone, I spot Ferras, approaching her to get his thoughts.

"Hey Ferras, can I talk with you for a few minutes?"

"Sure, what's up?"

"It's about Katy, and have you been noticing her attitude changing towards you?"

"I have, but I thought it was that she was just irritable."

"She's dating a new guy, and I feel she's changing because of him. Plus, he's going to abuse her, but she refuses to believe any of us."

"Oh shit," Ferras goes to find Derek.

"No, you can't talk with him. He can't find out we know about this."

"Then how are we going to save Katy from this?"

"You try and talk with her."

Ferras agrees and goes to talk with her. I follow him, not sure whether I should go inside the room. Handing him my key, Katy was back in her room where she was previously sleeping.

I don't think Katy went back to sleep. I had this thought that she was upset and depressed again.

Going to the door, Ferras was about to enter.

"Ferras, wait, don't go in there," he takes his hand off the doorknob.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't think she's sleeping right now. I feel she's a bit depressed, but she doesn't want us to know about it. I'll talk with her and see what's up."

He leaves the room, but tells me to keep in contact with what happens. Once he leaves the room, I slowly open the door to see Katy. I couldn't tell whether she was silently crying or sleeping.

"Katy, I'm not here to yell or anything, but talk with me. Are you okay?" I ask, but get a weak response.

"I'm okay."

I walk over to her, only to see her face facing the floor, and seeing tears drop.

"You're crying, what's wrong?"

She sits up, trying to stop crying.

"I guess I miss John."

Hugging her, "It's okay. If it's upsetting you that much, break up with Derek."

"No, I love him."

"Alright. If you need anything, call me Katy."

I leave her alone and go to find Ferras and Shannon. Both no where in the entire hotel, I walk the city about half a mile before I find Pamla.

"I got news. Katy misses John, and it has her depressed about it. But she still wants to stay with Derek."

"I think we ought to leave her alone about what we're trying to tell her, and worry about it later."

I didn't like what Pamla told me, but I agreed with her. I wanted to spread the news to the two I've been looking for, as that was my priority the rest of the afternoon.
