Katy was hurt, she stayed in bed all day. I stood by her side to comfort her. Pamla, Ferras, and Shannon had not yet received the news of Katy being raped. It was now time for me to deliver them the importance.

Since Katy was raped, she had not gotten a single second of sleep. She did choose to eat, but it wasn't much that she consumed. She wasn't talking much either. This poor thing did not deserve any of this. I was feeling so bad for her.

I wanted to me up with the three, so I texted Shannon, telling her I was on my way to her hotel that was different from ours.

"Katy, I'm going out for a little bit, do you think you'll be okay without me here?" I ask, and then take a seat on the bed.

At first, it looked like she was trying to tell me "yes", but, instead, she shook her head.

I lean closer to her, "If you need anything, and I mean anything, you call me. Okay?"

She doesn't really answer. Making sure she understood what I told her, she "okayed" me with her hand.

"I'll be back soon," I close the door.

I left to meet Shannon, but I also contacted Pamla and Ferras to tell them at once.

"Meet me at the lobby of the hotel where Shannon is staying at, this is important," I text the two of them, and signal for Shannon to wait for me in the lobby as well.

I see the three of them entering through the entrance door pointing to them to go towards a benching area.

"Is everything okay?" Pamla asks.

"No, she's not. Something happened." I say.

"Well, what happened?"

"Maybe you might want to sit down for this."

They take a seat, and before I delivered to them what happened, I was pacing for a few seconds.

"What happened?" Shannon asks.

"Yesterday, Katy was raped by Derek." I say.

"What?!" The three of them jump off from the bench; Shannon dropped her phone.

"The poor thing was trapped. If I knew that was going to happen, I would have saved her."

The three of them basically walked away from me.

"Where are you going?" I ask.

"To see Katy!" I wasn't sure with of the two women said it.

"Right," I mumble to myself, then follow behind them.

I haven't received a call or text from Katy. Must have meant she was okay. I tried calling her once when I received no answer. Again, no answer. Maybe she was sleeping.

When we returned to the hotel room, Shannon yelled her name, only to see her run back out.

"She's not in there," Shannon looks at the rest of us.

"Maybe she's in the bathroom. Check there," Pamla states.

"No, she's not in there!"

Shannon opens the door and runs out. Pamla and Ferras follow behind her. I was going to meet up with them, but before I did, I examined Katy's room. On the table next to where she was lying, was her phone. I think Derek abducted her. Shit.

I grabbed her phone and put it in my pants pocket. I ran out of the hotel and went to find Shannon, Pamla, and Ferras. Luckily, they weren't too far away.

"Guys, I think Katy's been kidnapped!" I yell, out of breath.

"What do you mean by kidnapped?" Ferras asks.

"Her phone was left behind. I have it right here."

"Call 9-1-1, and send help right away." Pamla demands the hotel desk keeper to call.

"It hasn't been twenty-four hours yet."

"So?"

"She has to he missing for twenty-four hours before they can help us."

"Shit, let's go find her!"

We didn't call a ride, and we're roaming the city for hours searching for her. There was still no sign of her. People were eventually helping us out trying to find her.

"Listen, make posters about her missing, and we'll keep searching," I tell Ferras.

"How many?" He asks.

"Enough for everyone to see."

Ferras splits from us now, leaving it to just being the girls and I.

It was approaching dusk, when we eventually became tired. Ferras was putting up the posters along the area we were in, when we found Katy, running away in which we could sense fear.

"Run! Run! He's coming!" Katy yelling, running around us, as Derek was not yet in sight.

Running behind her, we approached a corner that led to a short cut to our hotel.

"He's fucking psycho!" Katy was crying, and became a little out of breath.

Derek didn't catch her, and never knew of the short cut; at least we hoped.

Katy had a bruise on her face, and had a black eye with her left eye being bloodshot.

"Katy, look at you! What the fuck did he do to you?!"

"He hit me in the face so hard. I was helpless. I had no defense of protecting myself."

Her arms were bruised even more.

I couldn't believe of what happened furthermore with Katy. This couldn't happen anymore. The four of us were going to report him in.

"Katy, hey, look, we're going to report him in, this isn't going to happen to you anymore," We all hugged her so tight.
