everybody is so afraid of him,

but she is odd enough to have courage,

to face thee who is very very mean,

for thou's heart is housed in a metal cage,

little did she know, she has the power:

to bring down or tear down his solid walls,

that was once tall almost like a tower,

softening him thoroughly as the wind blows,

he is distracted-bringing his guard down,

melting whenever he looks at her eyes,

clutching thou's heart, looks at her at dawn,

adoring- until he realizes,

that falling for her was the greatest pain,

but was worth it for the love he has gained

this is a sonnet i made back when i was reading scarlet (by marissa meyer). i just felt writing it because i'm a lovesick human and i shipped scarlet and ze'ev so much! thinking about it now makes me cringe cuz' of the fast-paced love story which isn't my thing. i'm more into those slow, burning plots that could tear my heart apart.  if you happen to read this little message, kindly drop by my inbox and recommend me some good books to read. tag-lish is okay, english-even better. i just need to read something more modern because all i've been reading were classics books. i'm a huge sucker for classics, but i need a break! anyways, please vote and comment your thoughts. thank you~
