shattered mirror that reminds me of thee,
staring at it as if it's she,
a pair of eyes looking back at me,
wandering but doesn't glow with glee,
what has happened, i can't tell, i can't see,
how that mischievous smile of yours flee.
staring at it starts to creep me out,
how windows of the soul's filled with doubt,
she uttered nothing but veritably she shouts,
not audible to hear how it's very loud.
reading her lips, i know what it's about:
"oh hearken me not and your mouth you zip,
cover your ears or else you'll flip,
i'm broken! the mirror there i leap,
and your tiny throat i'll slit,
having no mercy, oh your insides i reap"
there i see her pain,
how thee is going insane,
i'm standing still, she's turning pale,
only realizing that we both are the same.
thee is me who grew from so much vain,
it is me who is to be blamed,
for i let the darkness rule me and let it reign
