22. A Different Type Of Love

Sasuke's POV

This entire day went by dreadfully slowly. I wasn't sure what to do. When Karin called me yesterday, I was frustrated and upset. I've calmed down, but now i have an hour to decide what to do. I looked over at the clock. 8:05. Well, 55 minutes. I exhaled sharply and ran my hand through my hair. "Naru?" I mumbled, turning my head to the upset blonde. "yes?" he answered softly. "I'm gonna go try and find Menma. I'll be back in a few okay?" He looked at me, almost worried. "T-The police are search-.." "The police? That's it? You expect me to stand here while my only child is out there, possibly in danger?" Naruto looked down and fiddled with his thumbs. "I-I've been thinking the same. I want t-to come." He spoke. "No. It could be dangerous. Please stay here. I don't want to lose you, too.."

  I tried as hard as i could to make it sound like that was the actual reason. Tears formed in his eyes. "P-Please be careful.." I nodded and got up. "I'm sorry." I walked out and grabbed my keys. I glanced down at the address and quickly felt a bolt of anger run through my spine. I haven't seen Karin in a while. Even the thought of it made me feel some type of way. Once i was in the car, I started it and immediately began driving. Visions of Menma and Naruto circled around my head. My foot became heavier on the gas petal.

Naruto's POV

   As soon as Sasuke left, I heard a knock at the door. Maybe he forgot something. I walked myself downstairs and quickly wrapped my hand around the doorknob, swinging open the door softly. "Hey." Shikamaru spoke, burning his cigarette out on the bricks around the door. "Sasuke isn't here. I figured you'd need some comforting." I smiled a bit. I was relieved. I nodded, wiping the tears off my cheek. "He went to find Menma.." I mumbled softly. The tall figure simply stared at me and put his hand on my shoulder. "It's gonna be okay, Naru." I let out a soft exhale and leaned my head against his chest. "Thanks.." I mumbled. He patted my back. "I figured a friend would be good right now"

I'm not sure why, but i felt a sting as soon as he said that. I felt disappointed. Let down almost. "yeah.. a friend.."

Sasuke's POV

   I pulled up to the address. It wasn't her house. It was a small cabin in the middle of nowhere. I figured that she wouldn't have sent me her actual address. That would be a stupid move. I opened the car door and stepped out, hearing the leaves gently crunch under my shoe. I walked over to the door and rang the doorbell. I waited with my hands in my pocket. "Well if it isn't Mr. Uchiha." I looked up as i saw the red head stand in the opening of the door. "Come in." She grinned and opened the door wider.

  The scent of the cabin made me feel uneasy. It was a strong, cinnamon scent with a lurk of mint. I quickly took off my shirt as she stared at me, confused. "what. This is what you wanted right?" I looked at her as i unbuckled my belt. "I didn't expect you to do it." Karin said, sliding off her robe. Her body looked the same as always. Those soft curves and plump hips. I walked over to her and grabbed her neck, kissing her softly. She slid her hand down my pants and grabbed me through my boxers. I bit my lip through the kiss and grabbed the knife out of my pocket swiftly.

   Within a moment, I pushed her against the wall and slit her throat with ease. I watched the blood pour out of her neck. I just watched. She grabbed her throat and looked at me with those slutty eyes. I watched her slide down the wall and onto the floor. The blood puddled around her. I watched her attempt to make her last breaths. "Don't ever, ever, fuck with my family." I said, kneeling down to her with a grin. "sa..." silence. Her limbs gave up. Her eyes where still open. I closed them myself and got back up.

Now to find my son.
