Synopsis
When a 20-year old actor plays the part of a damaged character who uses sex and alcohol to distract himself from the pain happens to be a virgin without very little sexual experience, how would he successfully portray such a complex character?
The answer: seek the help of his co-star who seems to know her way around anything and everything wild and dangerous-be it partying, alcohol, sex and even drugs.
Hero Fiennes-Tiffin comes from a well respected family in the showbiz industry. Growing up in a household of devoted Christians, he learned from a very young age that there is no other way to live life but to obey the laws of man and God. Alcohol, sex and drugs are taboo. And so while his friends spent their nights partying and getting high on drugs and alcohol and hooking up with anyone and everyone, Hero was busy working on his modelling and acting career. He didn't have time to party and drink and do drugs and sex should only be done after marriage. He is every parent's dream their child would bring home to meet them.
Josephine Langford is a wild child despite growing in a conservative family. Her parents who are both well known doctors in Perth have long since given up on trying to tame her wayward character-from dropping out of school in pursuit of her dream of becoming an actress, to her strings of problematic relationships which almost always involves substance use. She's carefree and liberated. She is every guy's dream and nightmare meld into one.
What will happen when these two extremely opposite personalities collide?
