After driving back to our home, I walk the few steps straight to Felix's. I figured I'd give myself a few more minutes or even hours away from mum and dad. I know they weren't in on the whole part where Sophia literally threw herself at me but the fact that they were the ones who gave that bitch the chance to come close to me again doesn't sit well with me. Should I just tell them the reason behind our breakup before? Maybe the they'd understand why I don't want her to be part of my life, even if it's just friendship.

"Hero! Brother, you're finally back man!" Felix exclaims as he runs down their stairs after his mum calls for him.

"Hey man, mind if I crash for a few hours?"

He raises his brow but nods his head and lets me up to his room. Once we are in the confines of his bedroom with the door closed, I groan in frustration as I plop on his bed.

"What's the matter?" He asks going straight to the point. I've known Felix since we were practically in our diapers and we could easily get each other's moods even without having to utter the words. That is despite the fact that we are literally the polar opposite of each other. He's what you would call the physical embodiment of a typical British fuckboy.

"You know about my relationship with my co-star, right?"

"Josephine? Yeah, yeah. I mean... how could I not? You two are all over social media man," he chuckles in amusement.

"Mum and dad aren't really fond about me flaunting my relationship with her. Did you see the photo of us kissing at the backseat of her car? My parents went mad over it," I tell him, my voice laced with resentment.

"Well that sucks man. I really did want to congratulate you on getting yourself a girl after Sophie," he says in all seriousness.

The mere mention if Sophia's name triggers my anger once again. "That's another one of my problems by the way," I grit.

"What do you mean?" He raises his brow in question.

"I just got home last night to find her in our dining with mum and dad like she belonged there. Damn it! Mum and dad had no right to meddle with my life like that. Apparently they think that if they bring Sophia back in to my life then I'd forget about Jo which sucks for them because it's not even a question who I want in my life. It will always going to be Jo. Always," I declare with all my heart.

For a minute, I am too consumed by my rant that I didn't notice Felix going silent. When I turn to face him with furrowed brows, I see the look of surprise and what looks to be pride in his eyes.

"What are you on about man?" I chuckle at his state of silence considering that he's always been the talker between us two.

He shakes his head and laughs to himself. "Fuck man, I'm just... I'm happy for you. It's all."

"I am too," I grin.

"Can't wait to meet the girl who finally climbed over your walls," he gives me a knowing look. "And baptised you with the forbidden fruit," he adds, wiggling his brows at me.

"Well I would have already invited her over if it weren't for my parents acting like a bunch of... never mind," I groan, completely ignoring his attempt to get me to talk about my losing my virginity. He fucking knows this even without me having to say it out loud. Wanker!

He nods in understanding before inviting me down to have some breakfast with the family. I happily oblige, missing his mum's cooking. After a bit of chat, I get a text from Mercy asking where I am and I tell her I'm at Felix's.

From Mercy: Tell Felix I'm coming over.

"Mercy's coming to crash here, too. You don't mind, right?" I ask Felix who's fiddling with his phone as we lounge in their living room.
