New Girl And Sleepy Talk

Luke and Cobain had been back in Australia for about 2 weeks now, and today was the day that Uncle Ash was coming home. To say Cobain was excited was an understatement. She was jumping around and telling Luke and her and Ash were going to play ponies and watch her all time favorite show 'My Little Pony."
"Daddy, whens Uncle Ash coming home?" Cobain asked as they rode in the car towards the AirPort. "Were going to pick him up right now." He said as he flicked his blinker on turn onto the road of the airport. Police where everywhere trying to contain the crazy amount of fans everywhere. Signs where being held up and Luke was happy that Cobain couldn't read yet.
"Why is there girls here daddy?" Cobain's asked as she looked at each of the fangirls. "Because they want to say hi to Uncle Ash, okay?" He was getting annoyed with the constant questions. Maybe since it was so early in the morning he just wasn't willing to work with his questioning daughter.
"So when we get out of the car, stay in your seat till I come around and get you kay baby?" Luke told Cobain. He didn't care that she was now 3 years old, he didn't want the crazy girls to trample her and have her get hurt, he insisted on carrying her. "I know daddy." Cobain sighed as she listen to her dad's instructions.
Luke and Cobain walked in through the back, trying not to get noticed by the screaming girls in the front. But being in one of the biggest band in the world, It's hard too. Of course there's going to that group of girls who find him and scream and then everyone else screams and then the whole airport is looking at Luke and Cobain.
Cobain never minded the attention, saying she was born into it. She's already given so girl her signature and she has people ask for picture with her all the time.
Finally they made it to the reserved section where they sat and waited for Ash. "I'm hungry." Cobain complained for what seemed like the millionth time. "Cobain, I've told you already that we are getting food as soon as Ash comes okay." He sighed. Luke was super excited for Him to get home so he can send Cobain off with him so he can have some alone time. "Daddy, I see him!" Cobain yelled and then stood up getting ready to take off towards him.
Luke stood up faster then expected and ran towards Cobain who was running straight towards the girls. The screams got louder as both Luke and Cobain headed towards them. Ash then spotted Cobain and also ran towards her to stop her from getting hurt by the teenage girls.
Luke took his eyes off Covain for a second and as he did everything got quiet. Then a surface of 'awes and ohs' came from the crowd, and as look Luke's up he saw his daughter being held by his best friend.
He didn't know why but he got really emotional. His smile grew as he looked at the two.
Ashton finally out Cobain down and picked up his suitcase which he had dropped as the little girl ran towards him. He made his way towards Luke, an wrapped his arms around him. Luke gave him a tight hug back, silently thanking him for coming home.

When they arrived back at Luke's house, after they managed to get out of the airport and to lunch, they all sat around the tv that was playing a re-run of 'My Little Pony'.
It was getting late (for Cobain) around 8:30 so Luke stood up, turned off the tv and picked Cobain up to have her take a quick bath and change her clothes to pjs.
"Can Uncle Ash help?" Cobain mumbled as Luke poured water over his daughters long hair. "Maybe tomorrow, he's super sleepy right now." Luke shushed. He assumed Ashton was asleep due to the tv still being off and the quietness in the house.

Luke finally got Cobain to go to sleep and he stepped out of her room, and into the dark hallway. He made his way to the Living room where he saw the soft illumination of the tv. Ashton was now sat up, and watching some cartoon. "I need to tell you something." Ashton said as Luke sat down next to him. Luke gave a nod and pulled some of the blanket Ashton had, over to him to cover his legs. "What up mate?" Luke said as he took the remote and turned the tv of. They now sat in The dark house. "It's noting bad, I just wanted to say that, I, I um meet someone." Ashton stumbled with his words.

After Haley died, all the boys refused I even think about being in a relationship, focusing on getting Luke better and helping with his daughter. "Thats great Ash, whats her name?" Luke smiled, he was happy for his friend. Him going off and meeting someone, who he obviously likes a lot, meant they are beginning to let Luke go off and do things himself with out one of the boys constantly on his back.
"Her name is Miranda, and I shes beautiful. She has the most amazing blue eyes and her hair is so curl I love it. She super funny, man I really like her." Ashton rambled to Luke who sat there listening to all the things he was telling him.

"Thats great mate, where does she live?" "She actually lives in the US, in Washington State, but she's moving here with some of her friends. I think there's 3 more girls she told me about." "When are they going to move here?" Luke questioned, wanting Ashton to continue his story. "Um in 2 weeks is what she told me." Ashton smiled. "Thats great to hear mate, I'm glad your finally going out to see people again." Luke patted his friends shoulder.

"You'll have to meet her sometime." Ashton mumbled after a few minutes. Honestly Luke thought he had fallen asleep. "Okay, do you want to go to bed?" Luke asked as he began to stand up. "No, I'll just sleep here tonight."

Luke made his way to his old room and stopped at the door that was shut. He took a deep breath before turning around and making his way to one of his many guest rooms and stepped into the room he had been staying in for the last few weeks. He laid down, and soon feel asleep with out an 'I love you' from his lips.

The end was sadder than I intended. Sorry. Okay so next chapter, I'll explain why Luke doesn't go into his room anymore. I think it's pretty self explanatory but whatevs
