She ran out of the office feeling her heart tearing into a million pieces yet again. Arjun chased after her but she didn't want to see his face again. Ever again.
"Aashi wait please" she heard him calling out. But she felt sick and didn't think she could face him. How could she see him again without mentally picturing him with HER? She couldn't hold back the tears as she hastened to leave the building. But Arjun didn't give up the chase. He couldn't let her go this time - he had to stop her and explain himself. He couldn't lose her again.
"Aashi I love you please just let me explain" he called out again. In the distance he watched as the elevator door open and Aashi stepping into it. "Please! Hold the elevator!" He was calling out running toward her. But the doors closed as he reached!
Aashi watched in relief as the doors closed and the elevator made its descent. She felt like she was suffocating. As the elevator doors opened on the ground floor she stepped out and rushed toward the revolving exit doors. She looked back and couldn't see Arjun - what a relief. She suddenly ran into someone.
"Oh my god I'm so sorry" she said stepping back and wiping her tears. She was embarrassed to be crying like a baby in front of people.
"Aashi you never have to apologise to me" a familiar voice rang through her ears. She looked up to see Prem.
"W-what are you..?" She couldn't even get the sentence formed properly. Seeing him was shock.
"I came after you Aashi and I knew this is where you would come" he smiles warmly gently brushing a tear away.
"I have to go" she tried to push past him. The last thing she needed was Arjun to come down here and see Prem. She didn't think Arjun would respond well to him. But then again why should she care what Arjun thought or felt about anyone? He had take her heart and thrown it away.Arjun ran down four storeys praying and hoping Aashi hadn't left the building. As he pushed open the door leading out of the stairwell he saw something that stopped him in his tracks. Prem and Aashi were near the front entrance and suddenly Prem put his arm around her. Arjun's heart clenched in a strange way seeing him so close to her. Especially now that Aashi could remember everything and knew he wasn't someone in her life. Please Aashi don't leave with him. Don't leave. He couldn't bring himself to approach them - his body wouldn't obey his mind - he couldn't move. To his chagrin Aashi allowed herself to be led out by Prem and Arjun just watched in absolute misery.
