Chapter three
¦1943, 15 september¦

I turned slowly to face the girl. She had long blonde hair and beautiful wide blue eyes, but I wasn't really able to see clear. I blinked a few times as my vision was a little blurred and I gave the girl a small smile.

'Sorry for my suddenly apparition. I am Hermione Willowtree,' I told her awkwardly. 'I need to talk with headmaster Dippet urgently,' I continued as my smile was starting to fade away when I focused on my plan. The real reason why I was there.

'Hogwarts is in danger, isn't it? Grindelwald is going to attack us. He was right..' the girl said the last statement more for herself.

He was right? I thought confused, but I decided not to ask her. It was better to get lost in the crowd and, well, to be normal. In her eyes I didn't have a mission, and it was better to stay that way. I didn't want to seem too determined or involved. From what little I knew, anyone could be in Tom Riddle's close group.

'I can't told you, I'm sorry. It's kind of confidential - I wouldn't be the right person to tell you anyway.'

She motioned for me to follow her and remained silent.

'And who is this, Anne?' a cold voice came from behind us when we entered the castle. I noticed that the blonde girl was scared. And it could be one single reason why the students were scared. The future Dark Lord was right behind us. I also noticed that something in Anne's eyes glittered. Was she excited to be around him?

'She's -' she started, but I cut her off.

'Hermione Willowtree. I have to speak with Headmaster Dippet.'

He was taller than me. Godric, he was taller than everybody in the room. His hair was easy curled and dark and he had a long face with a pale complection. I couldn't lie that in other circumstances, I would find him attractive. Yes, he was attractive, but he also was Voldemort, the Dark Lord without a nose. How I was analyzing him better, his eyes were the most fascinating thing about him. They were showing no emotions, but were deep. So deep like a dark ocean which you would like to drown in it. I looked into his eyes, but it was like nothing was their to behold. An endless depth of a cruel world.

'Follow me, than,' he was calm, but I could sense the tension in the air. Somewho, he knew that something was not right, and that feeling scared me.

'Headmaster Dippet?' I said and entered in his office. It was so different than Dumbledor's.!!!!!!

'And who are you, miss?' he said off-handed.

'I am Hermione Willowtree. My parents are -' I hesitated as I was feeling the Dark Lord's burning gaze behind me.

'My parents are held prisoners by Grindelwald. And I am afraid that they are about to be killed,' I said with a lower tone and sadness in my eyes. Since Harry's death, I was sad every day. I couldn't help myself to think about the happiest memories with him, and I was feeling so lost.

'Oh dear, I am so sorry to hear that. The Minister is trying to stop him as soon as posible. Do you have where to go?'

'That's why I am actually here. My father studied at Hogwarts when he was young, and he told me how much impact had this place on him. He loved Hogwarts, sir. And since I don't have nowhere to go, I am asking if I could stay here.'

'Of course you can stay here!' he smiled. 'But, tell me, how old are you?'

'I am going to make sixteen in two months.' I lied. In two months I had to turn eighteen, but I needed to be in the same year as Tom Riddle.
