4. Inevitable ending.
The ending must be unavoidable that no matter how we try to change it, it will not. Aristotle's Law of Action/Probability applies. The ending is sound and logical from the events that preceded it that is why the outcome is this. That is the main reason why we must know the ending first before we write a story. Tip #2 will help.
