18. Conflict.
A conflict is the one that makes the character decide. It must be well developed. It is where the character is placed in a life changing situation. It creates challenges in a story by adding uncertainty if the goal will be achieved. There is a conflict when there is something that hinders your character from achieving his or her object of desire.
