𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐀; 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐛𝐮𝐜𝐤𝐲

wilson (expensive mistakes)

as bucky leaves steve quickly grabs his phone, unlocking it sending a message to sharon

steve:‘hey’

the reply came almost instantly

sharon:‘did you ask him??’

steve:‘yeah i did, i asked him’

sharon: ‘that's great steve, i knew you could, what did he say’

steve: ‘he said yes’

steve could almost hear sharon squeal with delight

sharon: ‘that’s even better steve’

steve: ‘yeah i know it is, i just thought i should tell you since you gave me the idea’

sharon: well yeah you better have told me, or else i would have kicked your ass’

steve: ‘yeah yeah, well i just thought you should know’
sharon: ‘thanks for telling me though steve, i’m gonna have to go, talk to you later?’

steve: ‘yeah, bye sharon’

sharon: ‘bye steve’

he locked his phone back laying it down on the bed, sighing happily he layed back onto the bed looking up at the ceiling, he can’t believe he actually had asked him.

It’s not a date of course, even though he wished it was, but it’s just two friends going stargazing with each other that’s all

steve let his thoughts take over as he closed his eyes, letting sleep wash over him.

the next day he woke up me crippie and energetic then he usually was, he checked his phone for the time “11 o’clock” he says to himself, he’s still got hours till sunset, so he got ready, doing his daily routine after he had finished that he got everything ready, everything him and bucky would need for tonight.

steve was parked in bucky’s car, still sitting in his car, exhalling he got of the car making his way to bucky's door.

he knocked on the wait for an answer, it was then opened were he was greeted by winfred

“hi, steve bucky’s up in his room” she spoke moving aside to let him in, steve stepped inside the house closing the door behind

“thank you, mrs. barnes” he spoke as he made his way upstairs to his friends room. once he was at the door, he knocked on it telling bucky he was coming in, he didn’t get a response just heard the sound of shuffling, he opened the door walking into the room and closinging it again behind him.

“you okay buck?”

“yeah fine” bucky responded

“you ready for to night buck?”

“yeah, i can’t wait”
“good, we can start to pack for later and leave whenever you like it”

“okay sounds good”

they had finished packing a little over a while ago, and they left just before sunset so they could get there and watch that too

they got to the little place had found as the sun was setting.

steve took bucky’s arm dragging him to the little cliff, they sat down beside each other watching as the sun set over the horizon the sky a pink and orange colour

“it’s beautiful, isn’t it?” steve breathed in

“yeah.. it is”

the sun had finally set fully, the sky dark and full of stars, they went back to steve’s car getting the blankets they packed layinging them on the ground, steve and bucky laid down beside side each other them both looking up at the star filled sky, nothing was said between the two all you could hear were the crickets and their breathing it was peaceful
